Just a new gamemode i thought of that i thought would be fun.
It is just like the original Assassins server, a big map where you run around collecting Money and trading it in for armour/weapons/food however PvP is disabled and instead you are forced to run away or fight hundreds and hundreds of mobs (with armour/weapons) on the map.

Depending on where you are on the map the mobs are more difficult with more health and better weapons/armour. Also scattered around the map are Bosses, and if you defeat them you have a small percentage (ike 30%) to get an item the boss has, and you also get some money for killing it. Depending on which boss is harder, you get better loot.

You can use the /party system to create a group where you can fight and journey together. When defeating a boss in a party, the money gained is also split between you and whoever gets the item gets it.

Every now and then the mobs are able to raid the shops and you have to defend it, defending the shop can unlock some better trades for a few minutes or put on a discount for a couple of minutes.

Bosses could include
- Enderdragon (nerfed a bit)
- Giant Zombie
- Wither (Obviously nerfed a bit)
- Custom mobs such as Zombie Pigmen with more health and better armour/ weapons could be bosses

In order to activate some bosses (Such as an enderdragon maybe) you have to activate something first to stop spamming the boss to get op items

Suggestion from other people
- From @Dotsially - Villagers dotted around the map you can Assassinate or Pickpocket, if you kill too many villagers you get a bounty on your head where anyone can PvP you, kinda like that thing they have in GTA Online.
If you get caught pickpocketing you instantly get a bounty on your head. RIP lol

Okay, so I really enjoy this idea, even more so than original assassins where one person just gets op and grinds for kills. The problem I see is that with hundreds of mobs and constant bosses this could get laggy fast. If they found a way to make it not laggy than I would be all for it. An interesting addition they could make so that it didn't get boring is that 1. The mobs around you got stronger based on either your gear, or that levels you had in that game, and 2. Your items could carry over to the pvp assassins, could add much more interesting fights, even more so if the bosses changed providing different gear and could give players a chance against others and not just repeatedly getting insta killed.

It could be fun if they added NPCs or villagers that you could Assassinate or Pick Pocket to get some money.

Your items could carry over to the pvp assassins, could add much more interesting fights
I would have to Say no to that one, since it is PvE and not PVP, you are able to get items "easier" than PvPing player, also with custom weapons and armour that wont work

Tacosbefriends has made many in the past. He considered using them to host events in Assassins, but never did it because of how the multi-server system works.

ahh, what a shame, seems like that could have been a blast and given a bit more life to assassins.

Really like this, albeit the mobs would have to be hard.
After you play the game for a year or two, you've pretty much mastered mob combat and it's not really a challenge anymore because you know what to do, where and when. For instance, build up a few blocks to combat pigmen, run towards/under a ghast to get at close bow range, get behind blocks for blazes, and kite (hit, back up, hit, back up) wither skeletons. Even 3 withers at a time wouldn't be hard, they'd just hit each other and get angry at each other, you can just run and watch the carnage.
So yeah, add it but make mobs hard. Bob from lucky blocks, maybe?
