Hello CubeCrafters, I’m very excited to bring y’all a PvP update! We’ve added a ton of new and highly requested features for both 1v1 Duels and Assassinations.


Assassins
We’ve added Bounties to Assassins, to make the game-mode have more of an objective. Bounties are randomly chosen by the server and killing your bounty target will cause their head to drop. Return the head to one of the Bounty Hunters on the map to receive a reward and new target! Activate your first bounty by clicking on the "Bounty Hunter" Armour Stand hidden on the map.

You shouted and we listened. People seemed to HATE having their inventory cleared when they left the game, which was a big issue when the servers would crash/restart. We’ve added it so that when you disconnect from the server your inventory is saved! This is Assassinations wide. For example, you were playing on server game_50 yesterday, but today it’s full and you connect to game_69 - your inventory will be the same! (Even if they are different maps). HOWEVER, inventories will now be cleared on a weekly basis. We may change the reset period depending on feedback from you guys.

New Assassins Map!
We’ve added a new, and greener, map to Assassinations. Check out the short cinematic of the map below. Shoutout to @Alex_de_Grote for the awesome video!

Other things added to Assassins:
PvP Logging. If somebody is in combat and disconnects their items will be dropped.
Added a bucket of milk to the food shop.
Arrow purchases increased. By default, using /store to buy arrows will open a menu which now sells 12 arrows for 12 points (Old one was 3 arrows for 3 points).
You can now get XP for kills!
Increased server restart time. (Servers are restarted to help to reduce lag, increased so Assassination servers stay up longer, however doesn’t really matter as your inventory now saves)
Now have a rare chance of finding bread, armour and other items in chests instead of just coins.


1v1 Duels
We’ve updated maps, squashed bugs, and added 4 new default kits to our 1v1 Duel Mode! You can now duel players with the Crafter and Strafe kits, the two winning kits from the design contest, as well as a new Eggwars kit in both normal, OP and 1.8 modes!

Map Changelog
- Fixed where players got stuck in between glass panes on flowers ffa map
- 2 new duels maps: Emoji and Lantern
- Removed 4 maps: Floppy bird, Frost, Ice rink and pond
- New Assassinations map
- Courtyard: removed grass and halved the amount of flowers, and made it slightly flatter
- Cactus: Made an entrance at middle of cactus
- End: Flattened parts of the arena
- Picnic: Less likely to fall into void at start and removed middle plate so there is more room to pvp
- Playground: Added another ladder
- Western: Removed stone around the edge
- Bird: removed all grass/ferns
- Bath: Changed water to wool

Bugs & Features Changelog
- Stopped being connected to 2 servers at once.
- Fixed a spelling mistake in the custom kit lobby.
- Saying “GG” at the end of a match now gives +1 Experience.
