Can we get duels in the 1.8 versions i wold love it.

While this would be great and im all for diverse gamemodes, you have to understand that cube has a limit of players to play duels, and duels isn't very popular to begin with. Therefor if this was added queue times would be even longer than they are now and duels may just die. So i cant really support this as i believe it would divide the playerbase too much and increase queue times.
