Add punishing ceilings to ALL games and ALL maps
Why do we let camping happen? I mean, I know it's against the rules, but why give people the option in the first place? If you really don't want players to be doing something, prevent them from doing it. I propose adding a very strict threshold to every map of every gamemode on the server. Anybody who crosses said threshold will be given five seconds to return, or they'll be instantly killed - no exceptions. For example, if you were to build fifteen blocks above the highest point in a Skywars map, you'll be told to return within five seconds. Failure to comply will result in instant death. Of course, players could just keep placing and breaking blocks to reset the timer, but that's going to put them only one block higher than they could otherwise reach, at the expense of tons of focus and time and possibly the durability of their tools.
Moreover, in Duels, the threshold will be even more punishing and will vary from map to map. It won't exclusively exist above the map either, but anywhere that is unfair or attempts to avoid combat.
Remove Skywars spawn capsules once the game starts
I'm not sure why, but le noobs always feel inclined to return to their spawn capsules. Perhaps they're just frightened, or perhaps the map is too cold for them and they want to warm up inside their transparent homes for a bit. Either way, there's no reason for the capsules to remain once the game starts, as it just entices people to build up to them. I suggest removing them c:
Disable anti-cheat in hubs
The boost-jumps in the hubs are neat, but half the time they don't even work. They cause you to do a strange little lag-back dance where you sprint forwards and get dragged back to spawn a second later, losing your boost-jump in the process. I, like every other reasonable player, do not care if somebody is hacking in a lobby, because who are they hurting? Nobody, unlike the anti-cheat.
Blockwars build time
The build time in Blockwars is tedious. Two minutes just to place some blocks that will be destroyed in a few seconds anyways? I propose cutting the timer in half, because it's not hard to exhaust all your blocks in only a minute and then have nothing to do for the rest of the countdown. It encourages trolling via block breaking, because what else are people supposed to do? Perhaps Blockwars fans disagree (though I doubt the three of them would be viewing this thread), but as a newcomer, the two minute timer is exhausting.
FFA Wings fall damage
Fall damage is really buggy on this server with elytras. Please disable it, because the only time it seems to come into effect, is when you instantly die from a fall or crash that should have barely scratched you, because your elytra bugged out.
FFA kit durability
Why can our armour still break? In my opinion, the only armour that shouldn't have Unbreaking X on is the armour bought from the store, which should also come at a lower durability than it does now. Let's not reward people for spam-clicking by having their silly antics wear down our armour, pretty please? c:
Cubelet quick-open
Got a lot of cubelets to burn? Then enjoy staring intensely at your screen for the next half hour :) Instead, I propose adding a 'quick-open' option to the Settings interface, that'll open your cubelet instantly. Moreover, rather than any animation being given, you'll simply be given some dialogue that tells you what you got. This means you are free to spam-click the machines until you've burnt every last cubelet.
Example: 'You opened one cubelet and received: ||Mythical|| Bee Boots.'
10x Cubelet open - Reward for opening 100 cubelets
In a hurry and hate the hard work that comes with opening upwards of a hundred cubelets? Enable this option via your Settings interface, and you'll receive ten opening dialogues at once! There are a number of ways this could be introduced: Requiring 5,000 points to unlock; requiring a Lapiz rank; requiring a prerequisite of 100 opened cubelets; or having no prerequisites at all.
Example: 'You opened one cubelet and received: ||Mythical|| Bee Boots.'
Example: 'You opened one cubelet and received: ||Mythical|| Bee Hat.'
Example: 'You opened one cubelet and received: ||Mythical|| Bee Tunic.'
Example: 'You opened one cubelet and received: ||Mythical|| Bee Chaps.'
...You get the point :)
