Java Rank hiding feature

I would like to suggest adding a feature for players with a donor rank that would allow them to hide their rank. In the tab list, it would display as stone, and during voting, their name would show as "hidden" or "****."

The reason for this is that players with donor ranks are constantly targeted, even though there is no reason for this behavior. As a result, some games turn into chaos, with up to 4 players chasing a single person from the very start. This would help reduce unnecessary targeting and make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks for reading my suggestion.

I get the point, but that sounds like too much of a privilege to me. I would still like to know who exactly is in my match. I get targetted as well in Lucky Island even though I am stone rank. I think the problem is, stone rankers often hate rank players. Because stone rankers have so many disadvantages, they can only have 10 friends... they can only do a party of 3, which leads to many problems, and they are dependent of the votes which rankers make and there is much more so they sometimes just wanna defeat "the annoying rankers". I dont think you guys should have an incognito mode. Ranks are a good thing and all the things that rank players can do right now they should have that , because they support the server we all love and the options and things you can do with a rank are fair in my opion, but not that one, thats too much. That would make the final step to seperation between the "rankers" which is the "elite" and the poor stone rankers who cant even see who votes for all the stuff they have to deal with in the game because the rank dude can go into incognito.
I wanna see who I play against. And I bet thats not only me right @Velocidad, you wanna know who you play against as well. BzzzZz BzzzzZz makes the bee.

It's not too hard to figure out if someone has a rank if you play several games and see that you always play in a specific mode when there is a player in your game + if you are waiting for the game to start and there are only 2 players it would be very obvious who voted. I don't think it's worth having this on the server.

I might be very oblivious, but isn't there already a 'nickname' function for staff and content creator ranks? Or was that something that has been on the network? I don't think this feature is too new and a lot of servers use a system like this. For 'donor ranks' I don't think this is necessary either, as I think the problem is rather small, but definitely for content creators this feature could be great!

(for reference on servers that use it, you can look at for example Hypickle and MCC Island, of which the latter I know for sure also does it for their highest paid rank)
