Should people be able to re-join games?

Hey guys, this is just a suggestion that came to mind whilst playing CS GO. In CS GO if you disconnect from a match, you are given the option to re-join. I personally live in a rural area which has short, but common power cuts, this turns off my computer, and my wifi. Very rarely, this will happen to me whilst playing games such as egg wars. It would be nice if i could rejoin.

The main games where this would be effective in, is tower defenders and eggwars. I know that people may be able to abuse this feature. by disconnecting while in combat, but this could be fixed by making it so you can only re join, if when you left you were not in combat.

This is only an idea, and i dont know how easy it would be to put in. Please vote so i and staff can see if this feature is needed or wanted!

I think this is a good idea. I see what you are saying about it being abused when in combat but this can be solved by combat tagging. If you enter combat you get combat tagged and you will stay tagged until you havent been in combat for at least 100 seconds. So if you log when you are combat tagged you will die thus making it pointless to rejoin. Theres been many times where i have been disconnected from a game and wished i was able to get back in.

I liked this suggestion but remember which game you will join if you re-join because it will be random and if it is a map you don't like it isn't handy to re-join. :D

So I don't think it will be added in my opinion. :( (I hope it will be but Idk how they will solve the problem I said above). :)

Sorry, why would it connect you to a map you dont like? If your saying you leave the server becuase you dont like a map, then its easy to fix..... You do ./leave rather than disconnecting from the server :-D

I support you on this thread :) As some players might disconnect randomly from cubecraft and join back in, then they have the opportunity to re-join the game.

The thing is, in CS it puts you at a disadvantage. There's no abusable glitch as far as I'm aware. But in Cubecraft, especially in games such as TnT Run and Hourglass you could literally grab points as you log on. In EggWars, you could go to a second island and your friend on TS / Skype could tell you when an opposing team gets there and you could easily kill them. In BlockWars, you could go by the flag, wait until it's captured, and then your friend on TeamSpeak could say "Flag Captured, log back in". Overall, it is much too abusable.

Also I don't really think that getting disconnected/kicked is that much of a deal. You could just easily rejoin a different game. Exactly how long does it take to join another game? Not that long.

I have mixed feelings about this.
I too, live in a rural area. Here the internet is very bad at times and my router happens to just kick me from the network every EXACT hour, My way around this is restarting it mid-game so it won't insta-kick me.
This is risky, Because it works like 80% of the time.
That's the reason for agreeing with this

Then again: This could be abused very hard with combat tagging and strategically relogging in a way that it can completely change the gameplay.


The only way around it I see, is having an AFK body to represent you and does nothing (Basically an AI-less mannequin that can be killed)
This does seem kind of hard to do because of the amount of games that are being done at once across all the minigames. Which in that case, might cause a bit of lag.
