Remove colored/bold chat

Heyo.

I would like to suggest removing colored/bold chat (or only staffmembers have access), because most people only use it to promote their youtube channels. There’s also enough color in chat because of the rank tags/name colors. And it hurts my eyes seeing people talk/spam in colored/bold chat.

Just add some words to the system like the start of a website (www.domain.com) or idk so it just automatically detects, that the msg has a website in it.

Just report them for advertising. I disagree with this suggestion because that's one of the benefits of buying a rank

I'm not a fan of this idea. Mainly because the value of the Iron Rank would get decreased significantly considering how it's one of the few perks it has. Just report them if you see them advertising. Staff decided to add the rule for a reason.

One of the best things to get when buying ANY rank is the fact you get coloured chat. It's one of the very few things any donator gets is coloured chat. As said, it can just be reported. It's one thing that you can use ANYWHERE at ANY time.

I disagree as if it just hurts your eyes, then just disable chat...
Also the rank colored chats are a perk with ranks...

The colored chat is a fun addition. Removing it would be unfair to all the players that have payed to use the colored chat. As @AFreakingCookie (Hank) already said, you can disable chat if it really hurts your eyes.

As stated above, spamming and advertising is prohibited. Feel free to report the players when you see it happening. Colour chat is in my opinion a cool feature for rankers. Though, it can be annoying when someone constantly types long sentences with a
colour or in bold.
Considering the iron rank
just got a few perks, removing it wouldn't make an iron rank worth it more. It's a cool and funny feature and I disagree with removing it.

No, you can report players for advertising.
I like the coloured chat, it makes the server more colorful!

I know that these days it doesn’t really go far, but have you ever tried asking them politely if that individual could either slow down or not use the color/boldness? I know I, personally would definitely take it, at least, into consideration.

I see where you’re coming from, but as many others above have stated, it’s one of the most used perks on this server and one of the best perks for the Iron rank.

I’m sorry that this hurts your eyes, but if the problem ensues, just briefly disable your chat. ^-^
