No, I don't see any reason to remove it if they will add it back if they get new kits.

No, because some people still want to see the price of the kit, the details about the kit and other stuff about the kits. And you can also buy abilities. And imagine this situation: "Omg Cube is so bad even the shop doesn't work anymore, mod plss fix this". What I want to say is that this would only cause trouble.
Then it would be useless, because no one would use it, and no one would even figure out that there's an option to turn it on/off.
