All Networks Rename "Lucky Islands" to "Lucky Block Skywars"

Since "Lucky Islands" took the aspects of Skywars and put Lucky Blocks in the gamemode, the name must be simple and must be renamed as "Lucky Block Skywars."

As far as I know, the term "Lucky Islands" are not popular enough in YouTube but the terms "Lucky Block" and "Skywars" are.

This change will boost the recognition of the game and some sort of public relations.

In my opinion, renaming to only "Lucky Blocks" is a bad choice, but its fine for me if it could be alternatively named as "Lucky Skywars."

I did not get any views from the making Lucky Block Skywars content. I've been clip dumping thousands of clips since 2024 of Lucky Block Skywars and after compiling bit by bit, I received little bit of views. I want to let everyone see a new perspective on Minecraft and just return the good ol' times of moments that are funny. You know you know, just for the algorithm

Why should they rename their game that's been one of the most successful on the network? By this logic, you might as well rename EggWars to Egg SkyWars then. Algorithm or not doesn't matter, this is about their originality and sticking to the name that people already know.

"Lucky Block SkyWars" is way too long, too literal, and just doesn't sound good. "Lucky SkyWars" just sounds identical to SkyWars, but longer. I mean, technically SkyWars already has a luck aspect which is the random chest loot.

It is actually already called Lucky Blocks on Bedrock, which, to be completely honest, I've never understood. There's floating islands that have lucky blocks on them: Lucky Islands. It sort of ruins the unison of the networks for me. But that's something else entirely.

I think the lobby was originally called "Lucky Blocks" to allow for the potential of adding other lucky-block-themed game modes, such as lucky block race etc. That's why the game and the lobby have different names.

Anyways, to return to the topic of this thread, I agree with everything that has been said above.

The logic seems no sense, since Eggwars of course does not need a name change since the difference between Skywars is big. The Skywars aspect is nearly similar to Lucky Islands so my mentality thinks it could stick the name. And now its not probably...

Anyways, I am here again wasting my time over a simple potentially-good suggestion ended up on a quick disagreement.

Since Lucky Blocks are giving some potential, I doubt it would have another Lucky Block sub-game like Lucky Islands in a few years (as in could take long to get it released).

Cubecraft might be focusing on other things like creating games that isn't related to Lucky Blocks, bug fixes, giving improvements to already made games, marketplace stuff, etc.

Guys hear me out, maybe the new game is lucky block race battle (very VERY low chance but it would be pretty fun to play, just blocking it separately, or maybe a lucky island map no void then a death match at the end)

I know that Hive's version of Skywars is near similar to Lucky Island since there are random ores, but its even more vanilla and far away for "Lucky Block Skywars" to be a "ripoff."

This is true, the lobby was made this way when lucky blocks was first released on Bedrock. That was many years ago, so I think at this point it is quite unlikely a new lucky block gamemode will be added.

Most of the time, they will be. The Bedrock network has more players so it's easier to see how the game is going to perform and whether it's going to be popular. This is what happened with Pillars of Fortune and BedWars.

However, in this specific case, the Java network does not have separate game lobbies. If it did, it's entirely possible that it would have been named "Lucky Blocks" as well.
