Hey everyone, I do quite a lot of reports, and it's really satisfying to see a ton of green (accepted) reports. As with most of us, we get a bit annoyed when a red report ends our green streak.

I have only had 2 reports denied for genuine reasons (of my mistakes). The other ones were denied because the player was banned via another report.

Rather than having a red report for people that have already been banned, it should say accepted . The reason why I think this, is because you have put effort into making the report, and the report was correct, but it does not count as an accepted report.

In conclusion, for reports where the player has already been punished, it should still count as accepted. This will stop the red reports from ruining your green streaks.

It would also stop people from thinking their reports were incorrectly denied (some people don't read the staff comments).

Another idea which has been said in this thread by Magnificent, is to have different colours for denied and already punished.

I don't see the problem with a denied report. I'd rather have a ruined streak than checking every report if it has been accepted.

I think it would be best to have a new report state for reports that are obsolete because the player is already banned. Maybe there could be a red Denied for a report with invalid evidence and a black Closed for obsolete reports. I have heard of multiple people that got confused because their reports got closed even though they had valid evidence. So it wouldn't count as an accepted report, but also not show as a denied one.

That seems like a good idea to me :-D

Don't really see a huge deal in this...

For me, it's because when i apply for helper i don't want it to say i have lot's of denied reports, because It's Very rarely that my reports get denied for reasons of my fault. The main reason why mine get denied is because the players have already been punished. These are some of my reports : http://prntscr.com/djwkjj (plus the ones on the old system).

I don't agree :p
Someone was just a bit quicker with reporting. This made your report unsuccessful since the accused player didn't get banned with your evidence :)

I see why you say that, but the main point i am making is that the reports which have already been answered are made into denied reports. This could look bad when applying for positions e.g helper. I'd hope that maybe reports that were answered in a different report should not count as your unsuccessful reports. I understand if you don't agree. Appreciate the feedback <3

I see where you're coming from. I wouldn't worry too much about denied reports. Staff members also know that reports of players who are already banned count as a denied report.

Marking it as accepted would also be misleading. But I would prefer a distinction between denied and closed reports. If one of my reports gets denied, I'll want to re-watch the evidence to see why it wasn't accepted. That would be easier if those reports were marked differently.

A tiny bit off topic, but this is why I think we should be able to view the details of our own reports and edit/delete them while they're still open as I said here.

Just read that post, I completed agree. I'd also agree that we should be able to delete reports @zDutchie ,sometimes there is the issues where a report posts twice, this means that one of them will be denied. If we could delete reports then we would be able to delete the duplicates.

Does that problem occur often?

Sometimes if my internet slows down the page will lag/ glitch. This then randomly posts the report twice. It's only happened to me once or twice. It's because when you click on the button to submit the report, sometimes you don't think it has worked (usually because of the lag/glitch), so you click it again (meaning when the page starts working it posts the report twice). It's very hard to replicate as my WiFi is usually OP, it's only when my brother is watching 4k Videos that it slows down.

Yeah. I have only 3 reds. One is an accidental duplicate, back from when I didn't know how to use that report website, and the other 2 are reds that I posted at night, and by the time staff got on Cubecraft the next day and got to my report, they were already banned. It shouldn't be a red if the player has already been punished or if it's a duplicate, because if you apply for helper, staff might actually think that you sometimes fail to recognize hacks, which may get you denied altogether.
