I would like to make it so that anyone can do /report. I know it comes with a rank. However, what happens if someone observes hacking and he doesn't have a rank? Yes, he may be able to report it on the forums, but what if they don't have recording software to show proof? My suggestion would be to allow everyone to use /report, and then add another perk like color chat to the ranks as a possible replacement.

I think that the /report command is given to ranks because there are too many reports to handle. If everyone can use /report, the staff can't look at every report, they already can't but that problem will be bigger when everyone has acces to /report. It is a good idea to have less hacker, but I think there is just not enough staff.

That might be true but what if you were a default. Wouldn't you just loved to do /report than open up OBS and download on yt, and then put it on the forums?

If I was a default I would love to be able to use /report, it is one of the reason I bought a rank :) But unfortunately it isn't possible :(

True, but I don't think you should buy a rank just to help out the server with hackers. I think everyone should be able to report and try to get every hacker. Now I know there are not that many staff's, but this could change in the future. Then they could add an new update.

I fully agree, if the server will get more staff members they could make this a thing. :)

I really don't agree with this. This used to be a feature in the past, but it got abused. That's why they removed it and eventually only gave donators+ access to it. Yes, the server will get a lot of staff, it's been announced they want a lot of staff already by the end of this year, but I still think it will be more than the team can handle. It will just get abused again, people will overuse it and a lot of false reports will be made. Wether the team is big or small, I really don't think it's a good idea.

If you're interested in becoming staff to eventually punish the rulebreakers yourself, then you can apply here. If not interested, just report them through the report site, or buy a rank to gain access to the /report command. You can download OBS Studio or something similar to record. Or if you're unable to download a recording software, you can always use the game bar to record.

They want to do this but they don't have enough staff to handle all those reports. First this was possible but it got abused and there were way too many reports. Maybe they will make this a feature for everyone some day but that will take a while, they first need a lot of new staff members. But I do agree with you I think it defenitly should be something everyone can use.

To add something: I think people with ranks are more experienced on the server and see a lot better if someone is a hacker or not.

It can be a good idea, but the thing is, the moderators will be spammed 24/7 with reports and then they won't be able to handle them all.

When I joined the server I always found it kinda weird that nor everyone can do /report, but it kind of makes sense. See, there aren't always a lot of staff members online, usually there aren't many at all. If /report could be used by anyone then the staff members couldn't handle it at all. Besides, most people with a rank know the rules and they know what they're doing. It wouldn't be ideal if staff members got /reports from uneducated and inexperienced newbies, taht's just a waste of time.

Also, think about how easily hackers could take over the server at that point. They'd just get like 20 people to join and spam /report so that the actual reports on the real hackers get buried.

This has been suggested before, but I don't think it should be available for everyone since a lot of players can be false reported and hackers can abuse this. This is also more work for staff. If you can't record it maybe you could ask someone else in your game to do it or ask a ranker to do /report.

Yes it may be a lot of work, but that's what servers are about. To improve there ways and find threw the challenges. If these people can't handle all the reports that they shouldn't apply for staff. Just think of kids who get killed by hackers it ruins there experiences. It's not fair for them to buy a rank just to have good experience on the server. Yes there are some challenges to it, but all server's face threw it and try to make it work

I'd love to have /report open for everyone, but at the moment, that's not possible. Why? The staff team isn't big enough to check that amount of in-game reports.
We have issues checking ranked players reports, imagine if we open this to everyone. It will be a completely useless command because it will be impossible for us to check them all.

Anyways, the moderation team is growing every month, thanks to our recruitment manager and team. So, maybe in the future we can give no donators access to this.

Btw, if im not wrong hypixel have /wdr, and that command alerts the anticheat about a potential cheater and CubeCraft /report alerts the mod team, not the anticheat.

Meanwhile, if you want to report someone, reports.cubecraft.net is open for everyone

Well, first of all, As many other users have said, if this get added to all ranks, cubecraft in-game report system will be totally collapsed. If now barely they can review all, imagine if instead of 4000 players (for example) use it 8000...

Besides the collapsed that this would suppose, my personal opinion is that this is feature of the ranks. (Perhaps some months ago I would say yes, but now, no.)

Other thing that I've noticed, majority of players unranked (and a lot of ranked too) that lose a game save grudge and probably if this get added would increase substantially the fake reports amount.

Hi,

I understand what you want, and I agree. But I don't think stone ranks will get the permission to do /report in the near future (1/2 months). They want to give the permission to stone rankers aswell, but CubeCraft doesn't have enough Moderators at the moment. The Recruitment Team is working hard on getting more staff, so maybe this will change in the future and I would like to see that happen.
