- Hello everyone! Lately I've been playing quite a bit of Tower Defence and I noticed how interesting of a concept it is to give different EXP rewards based on your performance in the game. Mainly because it encourages you to put an effort in the game if you're looking to get a good reward, it should reward skill, not getting carried around.
So I thought, why not implement this system into all games? In this thread I will only be going through games that are currently permanent (except for Parkour, Minerware and PVP as they work differently.)
Disclaimer: You get these rewards even if you didn't win.
As for Skywars, this is how I think EXP rewards should work:
- +100 EXP for winning.
- +15 EXP per kill.
- +5 EXP per assist.
- 10 EXP per minute of playtime. (This one is a hard one, it's really hard to assure people won't just camp to get more EXP, so perhaps this one shouldn't be a thing)
Lucky Islands:
- +100 EXP per Win
- +1 EXP per Lucky Block you break
- +15 EXP per Kill
- +5 EXP per Assist
- +25 EXP per Kill not done with a sword, axe and bow. (potions, wands, pets, hot potatoes, etc.)
EggWars:
- +20 EXP per Egg Break
- +2 EXP per Normal Kill
- +10 EXP per Elimination Kill
- +1 EXP per assist
- + 150 EXP per win. (75 if on a two-team map)
Two additional things that I think should change in the EXP reward system:
- Give players EXP in Team Lucky Islands even if they have died and their team won.
- Do not give EXP or Stats to players when they don't move in the entirety of the game.
I only wanted to extend this suggestion to permanent games as featured games aren't that big of a priority. That doesn't mean I wouldn't absolutely love to see this concept be implemented in featured games too.
Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated.
