This would be great! Time saving as sometimes you’re not ik the same lobby as your friend and can’t auto complete their name at all!
Thanks for being so good at finding the right suggestions

This is something that I think would be a true upgrade to the server. It would make it so much easier to play w/friends.

This would be such an amazing feature. It’s a small thing which would save a lot of time when inviting multiple people. However if you’re only inviting one person it’d probably be faster to just type ”/p add <username>” (if you know they’re online). When inviting multiple people this would be absolutely great and would save a little bit of time and also make it easier to invite friends.

One thing that could get annoying though is when you’ve invited one person and the chat closes. People talking in the chat makes it difficult to scroll up and click the right person. Maybe you’d even have to click multiple times to get the right one. But it’s the same with ”/fmsg” so it won’t be that big of an issue. Anyways I love this idea and it should definitly be implemented!

Description
As it is not always possible to autocomplete your friend's name when you invite them to your party, I thought it would be a nice feature to be able to right click their name in your friend list to send them a party invite.

This would allow you to send party invites to the few friends you want to invite with just a few clicks!

Options
  • I would suggest a cooldown on the click invite after 7 continues invites to prevent from spamming.
Issues
  • An issue might be accidently inviting friends while you actually wanted to chat with them by misclicking.
Possible solution
  • One solution would be to only let the right-click feature paste the command in the chat, like with /fmsg. This would also further help prevent spamming.
  • Another solution would be the introduction of the '/p list' command, a command that lists all online friends. These friends could then on-click be invited to your party much like you can message your friends with the '/f list' command.
I really like this idea but to solve your issue, instead of directly inviting your friend, when your right-click his name it will auto complete the whole command in your chat (it's a feature that spigot offers if I remember correctly) and then you simply have to press enter. It could be a good and effective way to make sure you don't accidentally invite a friend!

The solution you offered is what I meant with the first solution in the list under "Possible solution" ;)
If you'd really like to see this feature implemented then it would totally help if you shared the thread with your friends!
Thank you for your support ^^

Good and effective addition. It's always annoying if you need to invite a lot of friends to a party.

I think this is a great idea. But a feature you could add to this is a confirmation to invite your friend because, like you mentioned you might invite them by accident.

That would also be a possible solution! Though, I do think this disregards too much of the feature's convinience. The first solution in the list is the best idea in my opinion, to let it paste the command in chat as with /fmsg [friend] and that you only have to press enter.
Let me know if you think otherwise and thank you for your input! It's highly apreciated ^^

I think it is a nicely thought out idea, but i do see one issue. you could end up accidentally inviting someone that you don't want in the party. so there should be a "confirm" button in place if this were to get added.
