What I say here might seem like I'm hating, but I only say these things because I care about the gamemode that the suggestion is aimed towards. Please don't see it as hating or complaining, especially as I'm offering solutions to a very obvious problem that has haunted Super Craft Bros fans for months now.
Problems:
I really think this kit should just be removed. The base damage is way too high at 2 - 3 hearts per shot making it almost as strong as a diamond sword, it fires faster than an AC130 in a hacked modern warfare2 lobby, it has explosive tipped arrows, making them extremely accurate, its super ability has an enormous range, guarantees 1.5 hearts of damage and recharges faster than all other kits (tied with the skeleton) and if you kill a player with the explosive damage they respawn on a grass field, basically killing them completely regardless of how many lives they have left.This kit creates a whole lot of noise pollution. Also, even at close range, you're more likely to win with a wither than you are a cactus, and the cactus has a sharpness sword, a melee weapon. Finally, this kit creates lag spikes frequently when you're caught in its explosive blast, and if you're caught in just a single blast you're going to be combo'd to death. I understand that unlike other kits, this one is based on an actual boss monster and not just a general enemy, but there needs to be a balance between realistic and fairness. I mean in the actual super smash bros games, you can have a giant lizard (Bowser) fight an insect (Olimar), but it's the better player who will often win and not the better character.
Also, I have over 300 wins in this gamemode so I know what I'm talking about when I say that this kit is just unfair. I've also stopped playing it due to this kit and the jumplag, but out of the two I reckon the wither is the most annoying :(
Solutions:
As always, I don't like to pick out all of the problems and not suggest any solutions, so I have come up with a list of changes to balance this kit.
-Balance the fire rate. Make the arrows similar to the skeletons; they shouldn't defy gravity. If you want to shoot somebody across the map, you should have to pull the bow
all the way back
-Give it jump boost II. After all, it's based on a monster that can actually fly
-Cut its damage in half. It does more damage than any other weapon in the game, excluding the diamond sword which lasts for 3 seconds and is only obtained through the super ability of the zombie kit
-Remove the explosive effect. It's only causing players to respawn on an empty field, which straight up makes it impossible for that player to win as they are no longer on the actual map
-increase its super ability timer by 10 seconds. It guarantees 1.5 hearts of damage with no skill at all, and it recharges after only 10 seconds, which is too short.
-Change the netherstars enchantment from knockback I to sharpness I
These changes might seem harsh, but it won't make the kit completely useless. You still have the jump boost, which will give this kit a gimmick like all others rather than it just being "that one kit that destroys every other kit even at close range"
I hope you consider some of these suggestions.
