Hello everyone, I am here to suggest a thing that could clear up some of the chat stuff that is said in game.

Because there have been a lot more reports (although it's more hackers than muting), I believe a scrutiny in punishments should be implemented.

1st chat warning : 2 weeks mute.

2nd chat warning : 1 month mute.

3rd chat warning : 4 months mute.

4th chat warning : 12 months mute.

Advertising ; to be kept at forever.

What moderators (and players before they report) would need to do is this; they need to wait a good 5-10 minutes before muting/reporting incase they cause more havoc / could get a longer mute. If you have been waiting for more than 10 minutes, proceed to mute/report.

Ehh no I prefer just muting them how I do now, muting after two warnings or so rather than "seeing if they create more havoc", it just creates more havoc, and the mute system is fine how it is

(Also you want advertising to be a forever mute still? Can be arranged ;) )

I think this might unnecessarily over-complicate the simple "warning, warning, mute" system that we have at the moment.

Just over there
Each staff member has their own different way of dealing with it, I give it 3 warnings and then 3 months depending on what it is. If its racism or advertising its permanent for me

I'm usually very strict about my warnings, I believe only 1 warning is needed, if they don't stop after their first warning then I'll mute them accordingly to what they have done.

I don't like it because one of the banned words oon cubecraft is espera (=wait) but is a banned word becuase it contains es-pera --> pera+r=Perra=Swearing word. So if people speaking spanish says wait often they can get muted by the system

if staff members have to give warnings out, after the 4th warning (12 months = 1 year = That is a long time) staff cannot keep track of all the players they have dished out warnings too. There are like 15 thousand people (again, that is a LOT) playing Cuberaftgames and do you think EVERY mod/admin can keep track of how many people they have warned

Also, the anti-swear sustem has a spelling problem, pera means pear, the correct word to ban would be perra, which I believe is not banned.

It's because people mask swear words, in English the point can get across if you drop one letter. Apparently this isn't the case in other languages, although depending on the contex it may make sense :P

Nah, this would just overcomplicate things. Most staff members have their own way, the way I do it is 2 warnings, then a mute. Racism and advertising of IPs are instant perm mutes. Easy as that. We don't need a whole template and rubric for it.
