Hey all,

Today I thought about making a thread where everyone can show off their pet(s). I guess you could kind of think of it as a sort of introduction thread but for your pet(s)?

The reason why I came up with this idea was because I do have pets myself, and I'd really love to know more about what sort of pets you all have!

If you'd like you can provide a description as well, including your pet's name, age, and just a little biography :)

This is Tex, she's 2 years old, She's a kakariki which literally means 'small parrot' and that's what she is! Her favorite food is sunflower seeds and she knows one word: 'hello'. Furthermore she also acts as my alarm clock for 7 in the morning and her main task is giving kisses, chilling on my shoulder, eating, and giving the cleaning lady a heart attack every time Tex tries to be social with her and flies at her to sit on her head!

First one! This is my cat Dora, don't ask why that's her name. She's 12 years old, she likes to cuddle with her head to your head or arms. And she follows you when she needs attention. We got her as a kitten when I was 3 years old. She has blond hair what's pretty rare.

Next: It's a girl which is very rare for a red cat. Her name is Sammie and she's 2 years old. We got her because she got lost by a farm and ran to a house of known people. We think Sammie's family died because they never found the family back. We got Sammie from the known people and she was like 6 weeks old and so little and cute! Now 2 and a half years later she wants attention anytime. She's a dog, where you go in house, she follows you. Also she likes to watch TV ON the TV!

Guinea pigs.

This is my Guinea Pig, his name is John and his favourite food is cucumber.

This is my sisters Guinea pig, his name is squeaky, he likes red pepper.

They are both 1 year and 4 months old.
Since we got them they have doubled in size and they constantly have to eat hay as they are naturally grazers from Peru.
Not really sure how they didn't go extinct tbh as they are balls of fluff and that is their only skill.

This is my dog Flip (most original dog name ever I know). He was a stray dog in Spain as a puppy when we adopted him. He is now about 6 years old I believe. As he was a stray dog he has been traumatised as a puppy, and therefore he used to be scared of litteraly anything when he was younger. It has become much better over time and now he is almost never scared anymore.

This is my dog Barli (a cavapoochon) who’s 3 months old.

I don’t have many photos of her because she’s only still while sleeping. I also wrote this while taking care of her so that’s pretty pog.

I have 4 cats lol. Three are Ragdolls and one is a Siamease.

This is Hobbes. He’s a Ragdoll and is around a year old and weighs 20 pounds. He likes to beg for treats, sleep in the hallway like this, and get his belly rubbed (he is so floofy and feels like a chinchilla). He also sometimes tries to escape the house...

This is Lucy. She is 11 months old. She is very sweet and serene. She is very brave and loves to play with cat wands. If she saw a mouse she would go absolutely crazy!

This is Locke. He is the oldest of our cats (a month older than Hobbes). He is stunningly beautiful and friendly (he is also kind of fastidious and persnickety when it comes to cleaning himself and is an absolute gourmand when it comes to food). In this picture he is in the car because we were on a road trip from the East Coast of the USA to California.

This is Hannah. She is the siamease and is the sweetest and youngest of our cats. She is 4.5 months old. She really loves to cuddle.

This was my dog Luna. She was 1 year old when she ran away, but now she’s 3 years old now. However she was a dog that liked me more than my older brother .,. However my brother is 17 and he works in a restaurant, but he told me a coincidence that happened. My brother saw someone owning Luna when walking near the apartments near his work.

This is Hupsie, one of my 2 rabbits. He is very fluffy and he likes eating anything he can get his hands on. Hupsie always runs around in his big cage when he gets food, because he's so excited. He's 6 years old, so he's not as energetic as he used to be. This is him when it was snowing in the Netherlands yesterday.
