It's a solo eggwars tournament.
Read this:

This is a 32 player Single elimination tournament. Each player will have to compete against their specified opponent, if you loose against your opponent, you are out of the tournament! This is a 1.9 tournament, so it MUST be completed using 1.9 or above. This tournament is a great way to prove your worth, and meet lot's of new friends. Keep in mind, it is very competitive. The winner of the opponent does not receive a reward (unless someone would like to donate one), instead you get bragging rights and a great sense of achievement!

That's completely up to you. To meet up for the matches, you can communicate in any way you want e.g IG, on the forums etc

Use optifine, don't use any other mods,turn off animations, put all graphics on fast, and stay on 2 render distance :-D

Most people contact their opponents via the forums, if someone has 5 messages, it says to me:

"They have only come on here to sign up for this, they are not very active and won't be checking the forums".

When people don't check the forums, the matches don't get completed. If someone has 50 messages, it says to me:

"They are fairly active, and I can rely on them to complete their matches."
