No way, trees is an all-time favourite for everyone. Possibly Jungle, I'm not sure; it's just a thought.

The only problem, is that I don't know about the island positioning, since they are placed very close together on my plot, since I am limited to space in length and width.

It makes for really quick games if that what you're looking for, and it's easy to build from island to island.
