Builds [Skywars Map Submission] - India - (12 players)

Hey everybody, it's me again :P Today i'm gonna show you a new Skywars map called INDIA, there's 12 islands (indian trade shops) with 2 chests each, in the middle a huge tower with enchantment table and 8 chests.
Here's some pics so you can see it and a video of the construction, enjoy it :)

i know but i was thinking, that way the game is a little bit more fair

It's lacking a lot of detail. I like the idea of an India themed map, but not so much shops.

I really love the diea but the islands are too small and all the same maybe put a totem but i like keep coming

If I looked at this map without knowing what the theme was, I would never think it was something close to India. India isn't just desert, there are jungles and forests there so try to include grass and trees around the map. Make it more unique and detailed and have bigger islands with more variety. The islands themselves are way to flat. Add some stone to the bottom of them with ores and make it more "island looking" The center isn't half bad but it looks extremely bland. Maybe try using different block types, not just brick, and make it much more detailed.

Maybe like 3 different kinds of islands: Shoppe, an Indian Hut, and a Indian Temple fragment.

Remember u cant use 1.8 blocks bc some people plays 1.7 in server (if some build gets accepted)

I wouldn't call it "India". For someone who has never been to India, it's hard to tell what you are looking at. What you have right now-- I'd call that Booths, Market, or Bazar-- something like that. The things that pop into my mind when I think of India include; Asian elephants, tigers, jungles, and the Taj Mahal.

Sorry for lateness, due to having this new forum all map submissions are finally in one place, rather than 5 different forums.

It's a nice theme idea and the water gives it a nice gameplay feature. However, India is a country that is famous for it's slums, vibrant colours and huge temples. Rather than having a little market stall, it just feels really simple. Underneath the player islands, is very boring, just a layer of dirt. Always experiment with different designs and block palettes, to get the most out of your build.
