Snipe eggs in eggwars

Hello,
I've talked about this concept a while ago with my friends, and they really liked it. It just came to my mind as I saw some people talk about it on the forum.

Do you think that eggs should be able to snipe?
Should it only be able to snipe with power?
this would really be OP in maps where rushing is the key to winning

I would love to hear your opinion about this in the comments below :)

making eggs able to get shot by a bow
perhaps only power or create a special bow for it

People ussualy block up their eggs with at least sandstone so situations where this would work would happen when there is a blue moon, the planets align, and cubecraft renames itself to the chunk.

If you are able to rush mid on a map like nightmare where you have 20 diamonds instantly you could use it early in game
Or you can snipe the egg while your teammate opens up the egg and then fights them (Today, I mined the egg but couldn't pop the egg)

Just curious how were you able to break the egg's protection, but not able to break the egg?

I was playing the map safari and was rushing the island but he caught me and he was knockbacking me away from the egg so I couldn't pop the egg

Nah I was farming points
just popping all the eggs than left the game
You just got me thinking about it that i could've just killed them all instantly and even got more points :)

I don't like this idea. Many offensive players leave their egg unguarded, especially in hardcore. This is meant for campers to leave base. If they could shoot it, that strategy is worthless.

It's been suggested before, and I still like the idea! It gives a little bit of a twist to eggwars, plus it's easy to just cover your egg up with sandstone and prevent it from happening

I think its too op. Mostly when you got to mid and back, the eggs are protected with blocks.

Idea: what if you require 5 shots to destroy a egg?

Make it so that you can shoot 10 arrows to break 1 sandstone, And 5 arrows to break an egg.
