K i reached the nether in 7 miniutes using a lavapool and some lava buckets including time to find a pool + get buckets killed first blaze within a miniute on entry into nether

I just attemped a monument with cooked food, an iron pick, sword, waterbreathing and aced it in 15 miniutes. Iron armour

All this is 1.13 where you cant exploit torch mechanics and where milk bucketing wont help.

So I thought of this kinda fun challenge a few minutes ago. In this challenge, we're going to attempt to get every obtainable block + item in Minecraft (with a few exceptions) in under three hours.

Rules and Other Stuff:
- This will be done in a random seed 1.12.2 world
- We must have 8 people. No more, no less
- Graces are given on non-dragon mob heads, music discs, and dyed shulker boxes. Every other item must be obtained.


With that out of the way, let's determine roles.

Person A (@Copy of copy of 1-12.exe): Person A is one of our two traditional speed runners at the start. They'll travel with Person B through the first half of the run and will work to kill the dragon as quick as possible. They'll collect enough dragon's breath to get every possible lingering potion during the run (chests will likely be necessary). After defeating the dragon, they'll return to the nether and brew all the potions, and kill wither skeletons in the process. They're also in charge of fighting the wither.

Person B: Person B works with Person A until the dragon is killed. Person B will probably be done first as their sole job is to collect items from the outer end islands. Therefore, they can be assumed to take a high supporting role.

Person C: Person C is the miner of the group. They will work to obtain all diamond, gold, iron, and redstone based items.

Person D & E: Persons D and E will have a lot of work to do. They have to obtain every enchantment book in the game and obtain villager-exclusive items as well as some silk-touch based items (although a pick will be given to other people as well)

Person F: Person F will search for rare biomes and the blocks within them. This includes jungles, ice spikes, mushroom islands, and mega taiga. They should have a silk touch pickaxe before leaving for exploration.

Person G: Person G is in charge of getting ocean monument and woodland mansion items, although there aren't many of them. Easiest role to take on.

Person H: Person H won't be a frustrating role, but it will be one where taking a break can cost you. Their job is to do everything not listed above, including getting non-exploration based foods, basic blocks like TNT, making slabs and stairs, and getting all the easy stuff. Don't sign up for this role if you aren't prepared to be moving nonstop.

How to sign up for this challenge:
- State your IGN
- Open up a random seed survival world and see how quickly you can reach the nether. This is important, I won't accept you if you can't get under a certain time
- State which role you'd like. First come first serve basis.
- If you have issues with my roles, let me know.
- If you think you could do Person A better than I could, show me a video and I'll consider

Snapshots are too laggy. Also, we'd have to get the new blocks (not too bad but I'd prefer to wait for 1.13 full release if we want to do this challenge again) Do it on 1.12 for now

Ok lets find the best possible seed. I found one with a walk away Monument and ice spikes. can we use your realm @Shamel? Otherwise we’ll need to use Commie’s laggy aternos server. However I’m also good with a random seed since then we can explore and whatnot.

nether time depends on a lot of luck too. You need to have at least 3 iron, water and a lava lake.
Also on strategy, in the vid I made I reached the end portal faster than I reached the nether.
Also for seed use seed: 1
(also the seed I used in the vid). I can speedrun that pretty easily.
