Hello, CubeCrafters!

My friend and I have decided to try building a map for Solo SkyWars. We both have a lot of spare time now, so why not spend it this way ^-^? We've really paid attention to the original template thread, so please let us know if you find anything that can be improved! All feedback is more than welcome! Keep in mind that this is our first map ever and that we really tried our best, so please be easy on us. ♡​

Map name: Library
Creators: Headqche and JokeKaedee

General information about the map:

• This map is made for 12 players.​
• All islands are placed the same way, so everyone has a fair chance of getting at the middle island first. Though, there are in-between islands that you can use to reach mid.​
• This map is compatible with both versions.​

How many chests are there?

• On each starter island, there are three chests. These are not hidden and they are easy to reach.​
• There is one chest on every single in-between island, be careful with these, though ;).​
• On the middle island, there are 4 chests on the ground floor, 2 chests on the first floor, and 1 chest on the highest floor. This makes it 7 in total.​
• Altogether, there are (36+4+7) 47 chests.​

I really like the folder.
But something's bothering me.

The 2 middle islands run to nothing.
The others walk to a bridge.

I think you need a lot of blocks to get to an island/mid. For example I had made an extra island between the bridges for the 2 other islands.

(The middle) I think the middle is very clean. Well made,

This map is amazing, especially considering its your first. Now im not a pro player or map analyst or whatever, but id love to play in this map, and the cobwebs seem like they would add a fun challenge pvp wise to the game, anyways ya have my vote!

I appreciate your work and the map looks nice, but I think it's just not good enough for a Cubecraft map. It's just too simple and regular and I feel like Cubecraft is looking for new original styles of maps.

So it's a no from me, sorry :(

I appreciate your work, the map itself is fine, more or less, but I think this is not the style CubeCraft is looking for.

As everyone said, it's a good map and you've done a great job but it's not CubeCraft style.

Gameplay-wise the map would be pretty fun to play on. However, there is still a lot of work to be done in detail throughout the map. The islands don't really seem realistic as the grass-blocks are on top of the cobblestone. I'd recommend you to add a few layers of dirt beneath the grass-block and then start with cobblestone. Another thing you can do to make the islands look more realistic is changing the shape of the islands a little bit. The houses also seem rather simple, try to mix them up a little bit as well. Anyways, I'm not a builder but these are just some improvements from my point of view. As I said, the map looks good gameplay-wise but a lot of works needs to be done in order to get this accepted.

Like this map mostly but needs the dirt, also maybe a different name other than library since the only thing actually relating to a library is mid

i like the map but it can definitely improve, maybe add some ores and decorations under the island too. i like the distant between each island and mid, overall good work

Unfortunately, collectively the design team have decided to deny this map submission due to the following reasons:
- Building quality
-Texturing of the islands

Please do not be disheartened by the above comments, hope you enjoyed yourself while building!
