Spectate Mode on Assassination

Recently I have discovered a new passion for Assassination. Love the game, love the mechanics, love everything about it except some of the players. There is a reason Assassination is nicknamed the "hacker game". I guarantee you that if you log onto an Assassination server, there will be 3 or more hackers online as well. What I propose: I would like to see the spectator mode (currently only available to staff) put into Assassination that can only be accessed at the Assassination lobby. Not while you are in game. This would greatly help me and other players get better footage of hackers and hopefully reduce the amount of hackers we have at CCG. Thanks, and hope you like this idea.

Nice idea, although I think this should be only for donators.
Stones would find a way to abuse this far too much, and would probable just fly around an look for people that killed them.

Nice idea! This is will allow the staff to catch more hackers then they did before.

It has been suggested many times before and I agree that this would for sure lower the amount of hackers on assassinations. If you're only able to go into this mode whilst being in the assassinations lobby you can't really abuse this in any way. I also really like this suggestion because most of the time if a report of mine gets denied it's due to the evidence not being good enough and it really frustrates me as I know that they are using a hacked client, if spectator mode was added it would make it way easier for people to get better evidence, it would also motivate a lot more people to report players as it takes up less time and it's just easier.

Thanks for the comment! To minimize any possible abuse of such a command I would suggest that the spectate mode should be similar to the spectate mode of those who die during games such as skywars or lucky island. With the hotbar system to exit or to choose the play you want to spectate. When you exit spectator mode (which can only be accessed in the lobby) it returns you back to the lobby.

Thanks for the comment! Already 3 of my reports have been denied due to "insufficient evidence". The problem with recording whenever you see the hackers are that they kill you way too quickly since they have good gear and the hacks are too OP.

I suggested this a couple of months ago and Tacosbefriends said that he supported it but if it was possible to get a higher player count on the gamemode because we want to make sure that everyone can enjoy assassins and not that people will take slots for being AFK in spectator mode for example.

I can see the issue at hand. Even when assassination is not full it is still great! (excluding hackers) So far everyone has like this idea and voted yes for it to be added into the server. If people go afk into spectator mode, we should be able to add an afk timer, allowing you to only be in spectator mode for about 5 minutes unless you do /extend or something like that (if you want to include that feature)

yeah this is something that has confused me abit... on others servers many them have afk timers, and you will be kicked for idling more that 15min or whatever it might be on that server.
But on cube nothing like that is in place.. i can see why, its not really needed because its not a faction server or a smp or any server you can exploit and gain anything from beeing afk.
But maybe it should be implemented regardless because of this? i mean what is the reason to have people be able to afk hour on end anyways? :rolleyes:

I like this idea a lot, It would also reduce the number of hackers greatly, helping both the staff and making the experience more enjoyable for the players.
As for the number of slots in game, would it be possible to add a specific number of "spectator slots" ?
