[Spectators] Revamping hotbar

I am Berre, back with another suggestion

My suggestion is to revamp the hotbar of spectators.

I am now showing you the current hotbar of a spectator.

Spectator opening their hotbar

Spectator selecting slot one after opening their hotbar

Spectator selecting slot two after opening their hotbar

P R O B L E M S
The second slot is useless, and can be pretty confusing

Slot one and two are not working, slot three just shows me this again

S U G G E S T I O N
Revamping Spectator's hotbar like following

Spectator opening their hotbar

Spectators can now instantly leave

I went in to more detail for following options, as they can be quite complicated

Spoiler: Join game option

Spectators can now instantly join a game.

Spoiler: Stone rank

Both left and right clicking will just send them to a random map.

Spoiler: Iron+

Right clicking (Skywars map menu in this example):

Left clicking:
Join a random map

Spoiler: Spectate option

Clicking the compass will open a menu like this

Spectator mode is something CubeCraft does not have control over, spectator mode is a Minecraft feature, just like creative is gamemode 1, spectator is gamemode 3.

Although it would be great to get a better spectating hotbar, the reason this hasn't been done yet is because you can't edit the gamemode 3 hotbar. They would have to create a whole new spectator mode in which you probably wouldn't be able to fly through buildings etc.

I think it would be nice for the spectator game mode to be exclusive to Cubecraft. having a custom game mode may make it easier to spectate games as you will then be able to walk around like a normal player but you will not be visible to others. I feel that this suggestion could add variety to spectating and then maybe Cubecraft may have more control over that game mode to update and change it to how they wish.​

Everything needs an update, this spectator mode is here around for like 3 years it sure needs a revamp.

Unfortunately, cubecraft has no control over that hotbar. If you are talking about switching the gamemode (sorry if I missed that in the thread) then I disagree as it is nice to move through blocks and it is a better spectating experience.

It is indeed true that the paper is the same. I just couldn't come up with a better item and I felt more comfortable with this ;p

I'm not saying they should revamp it now, immediately. If Cubecraft would ever do a big update of tiny fixes and additions, this should -in my opinion- be on their list!
