Mind giving us a link of evidence or something? I don't quite believe you on this.
There is no such evidence. Its pure logic. Business want to maximize their profit and they will do anything they can do to increase it.

Cube also happens to a business, and losing players = losing revenue.

In case some people might not understand my humor/sarcasm, I'll put down a few hints in the form of rhetorical questions (think about the answer in your mind).
-Look back a few weeks ago. What happened in 1.8 skywars? Do you notice any new things hackers use?
-Did you know that hacker developers have hacked on this server? If yes, who?
-What are the majority of reports about?
-What hacks do you often see hackers use?
-Why are so many players complaining on the server: both in-game and on forums?

No. I never play 1.8.

Dox guy or something...
-What are the majority of reports about?
Hackers.
-What hacks do you often see hackers use?
Killaura, fly and anti-kb.
-Why are so many players complaining on the server: both in-game and on forums?
Because of hacks and the anticheat.

Ok we get your point ._.

I was gonna add that in but never saw a video of him so meh I thought about it twice and excluded them.
I've seen a lot. That guy became popular in the summer. I feared his new hacks would pop up on this server in September when CubeCraft reintroduced 1.8, and I was right that he crossed paths with this server.

All of these things I feared were based on my past experiences on other servers. Drawing conclusions from that, I was able to predict what would happen to this server. As stated, I was right about the hacker problem and the new hacks.

Every hacker can do that to be honest...

Ok then even Mineplex fixed it ;-:

You unlocked an achievement: you're banned for hacks :D
In StarCraft 2 terms, he just unlocked the "blitz" achievements, where the player must win a game in under 5 minutes against the AI.

I'm not 100% sure if Mineplex fixed it. Server did when they found out right away, which was good of their developers. Good move they attempted to stop OP hacks like infinite reach from ruining games.

Banned for hacks? No problem! More alts and alts = more money for Mojang.

More alts and alts = more money for Mojang.
If you think it generates alts, it doesn't.
Most services that provide free alts, use accounts that came from leaked data bases. Most of these accounts were disabled by Mojang, to prevent those alt services from properly working.
This also simultaneously combats the amount of hackers found, as they don't have a reliable alt source.

But if you mean "Alts playing on servers = revenue for Mojang", then carry on.

True that the alts have to be verified when logged on from another source, but how were the accounts/alts created? By buying a MineCraft license. Every account created that owns a MineCraft license is $27 USD to Mojang. Even if those alts were disabled, they were still legitimate accounts at one point before becoming compromised.

You're correct on the last line as well.

To be honest, if all of this was possible without a hacked client, but server side only and as a gamemode, that would be pretty dope.
The "kill all players in the game" is theoretically do-able, but very and I mean VERY difficult to achieve. Closest someone on Mineplex was able to do get 21 kills in their SG, just short by 2 kills.

It's also possible to win a game of skywars in under 3 minutes WITHOUT hacking, but this is also extremely difficult to accomplish unless you all-in and rush to every single island quickly.

Mojang frowns upon hackers but that's just about it. On the EULA, it doesn't state that hacking is against the EULA -- Mojang considers hacks as mods.
I can see why, though. #1, Mojang is much more singleplayer-based than multiplayer-based. #2, using mods is a great thing! Why should it be Mojang's responsibility to help private servers choose which are the unfair ones?

Yeah, so I understand why Mojang doesn't really care that much about hacking. The reason is, hacking in singleplayer is, well, not that much of a problem, and Mojang is mainly focused on single-player.

Have you even double-checked if any of this is true? This looks like you just made it up.

Mojang EULA:
If you've bought the Game, you may play around with it and modify it by adding modifications, tools, or plugins, which we will refer to collectively as "Mods." By "Mods," we mean something original that you or someone else created that doesn't contain a substantial part of our copyrightable code or content. When you combine your Mod with the Minecraft software, we will call that combination a "Modded Version" of the Game. We have the final say on what constitutes a Mod and what doesn't. You may not distribute any Modded Versions of our Game or software, and we’d appreciate it if you didn’t use Mods for griefing. Basically, Mods are okay to distribute; hacked versions or Modded Versions of the Game client or server software are not okay to distribute.
Keyword is "appreciate," meaning they frown upon it. They don't take any action for multiplayer servers when it comes to hacking.

We need more people to be aware of this. Hey, @Tacosbefriends , what do you think of this if these features were to actually be implemented?
