SUGGESTION: Ranks on forums

So, I as wondering, Since us donators have ranks on TeamSpeak and in-game of course, why not have ranks on forums?
So some answers to some questions you might be thinking:

-I know staff will have a hard time giving ranks on forums cause of many donators on CCG but if all the donators get their rank sorted out on forums in the beginning , staff wont have a lot of requests after 'all' donators have their rank on forums.
- I also Mods and Admins can have the ability to set these ranks on forums and not just Owners like the name changes so Owners don't have to do this by themselves.
- There will be no purpose to this ranking system on forums, just like on TeamSpeak.

The problem with this is that normal players that come on with questions, appeals, etc. may confuse a person with a forums donator rank with a staff member.

Just seems kinda un-needed. The forums is mainly used to ask questions/report players. And the time creating the ranks for the forums could be used on something better ;)

Thing I, they're useless too on TeamSpeak. I thought this would be just a fun side 'idea' for the forums.

I would like to have it added, but Soph made a good point, and that would just cause some unnecessary trouble.

It might not have trouble if it's kind of designed different than the ones that staff have. Maybe donators could just have the icon that represents their rank (for e.g. I would have an Iron Ingot next to my name) on profile and maybe the Picture on the left.

I don't see why this is a bad thing (unless it is a tag placed near things like moderator or builder [due to confusion as Soph said]) so possibly below member. This doesn't do much but it could create a little more motivation to donate. Then again, if this idea is denied, you can always put your rank and whatever in your signature like some people already do.

This is just an example, it can be placed wherever in my opinion, it's different than the ones staff had due to confusion :)

Yeah, I am pretty sure this was suggested before, then declined because people need to be able to tell staff and donators apart easily. Maybe if it was done the way suggested by @Malcolm it would work! As long as the name colors stay the same... I think it would be a good idea!

The questions can also be answered by 'normal' people.
