Hello,

waiting in lobbies can be quite boring once you've done the vortex jump and the parkour, this is why I suggest a game of tig. Basically, if you are "it" then you need to punch someone else and then they become "it". If you didn't tig someone within 30 seconds or have left the lobby then another person would be randomly selected. Potentially multiple people could be "it" at one time.

Yours,

MeowMaestro

My only gripe with this idea is that tagging means enabling pvp, and it might get annoying in lobbies if you're constantly being punched. Just as long as we remove the knockback and damage dealt by the tagging, it should be fine.
Maybe have an item on your hotbar which can enable it so you can only play tag with the people who enable it.

There's no obligation to tig another person if you're "it" and it doens't have any effect on you other than maybe giving you something to show you're "it" so I don't think it's going to be terrible for someone if they're tagged and don't want to play.

What happens if the person on logs out or to a different server? Would it go to someone else randomly then?

Yep, if someone goes away from the lobby or doesn't tig someone with 30 seconds then it passes on to someone else.

To prevent a lot of players not playing and the game not going fluently, you could add an item in the inventory of players which they can use to enable Tag.
People who are playing Tag could be recognized by the item floating above their heads.

Othewise people who were it would just tag people who were doing the parkour and not the people who were on.The people who were doing the parkour wouldn't be bothered to tag anyone else and allth other people who wanted to play would have to wait thirty seconds before they could play again.

But there would be multiple "it"s at any one time. Say the lobby is Freebuild and has 20 people, then 2 might be "it". Say it's EggWars lobby 1 at a peak time and has 70 people on then 7 people will be "it". This means it's fine if someone doesn't want to play but is "it".

This is only for lobbies, not for when you're waiting for a game to start as usually those areas are too small. But it's a potential idea.

The problem I can see with this is that most people put the visibility to friends only and so if it won't be able to it anybody without changing. Also, if not it they will not be able to see the person who is it.
