The PvP-gamemode joinable for 1.8?

Hello!

Today I was thinking why the PvP-gamemode is not for 1.8 and only for 1.9 or higher. I would really think that if we would make the PvP-gamemode joinable for 1.8, that it would get alot of players. Maybe also add a weekly, monthly leaderboards, everyone on the weekly, monthly leaderbords should receive an amount of experience or cubelets. I think this would make the server way more competitive and would attract more "tryhard" players.

Pvp isn't joinable for 1.8.

playing 1.8 combat in 1.9 sucks believe me. I think you have never played 1.8,

Because there are many differences between Cubecraft's classic '1.8 style' PvP mode on the 1.9 server, and actual 1.8 PvP. For example, knockback and regen are very different, there's no block hitting in 1.9, and there are also many smaller changes like with bows and shields.

Not that it matters, but I don't think CC is going to make the PvP section allowed in 1.8. It is already accessible in 1.9+. It isn't the same but CC isn't a 1.8 server, thus the reason why they probably don't have it available to 1.8 players.

Yeah I agree there is not really much to do on 1.8 right now, and your ideas are so great...

That's a great idea if you're done with 1.9 for a moment, you can still 1.8 pvp on cubecraft itself.
