I had been on this server for a while now, maybe around 1 year, and i had been having fun in the time i had. Thats before i came back, and now this is the norm:

I would report both pieces of malignant flesh, but its pointless.
Hackers only get a one week ban, one month ban, then a one year ban. Sounds simple, right? Well, if it was so simple and effective, like how people like Tacosbefriends claim, then the problem would have been solved already. So how would it go down?
Like this:
Hacker appears in CC
Gets reported in the first few weeks +4 (or so) weeks
Gets banned for a week (BTW it doesnt care, it will just go onto another server to make others suffer there.)
Comes back, hacks for even longer (Maybe around a few weeks, so lets say) +3 weeks
Gets banned for a month, comes back either by an appeal saying "I'M SOWWY 4 HAXIN" Then doing it again right when he comes back because their heart is about as black as a black hole.
Comes back, hacks for EVEN LONGER +5 MONTHS.
Gets banned for a year.
Quits and gives up, DOESN'T STOP, THEN COMES BACK ON AN ALT ACCOUNT OR A SEPARATE IP.
Sounds simple, right? well, no.
So ok, lets see how long he would hack for:
around 7 months
7 months
7 MONTHS OF RUINING PEOPLE'S GAMES CONSTANTLY.
But naw, its fine, they are just troubled souls that deserve empathy, rght?
Well, they don't care about the rules, people, or mercy.
This wastes so much time just getting these people to the 3rd offense, that a strait perm ban or IP ban right off of the bat would save so much time.
Ruining their game time shouldn't mean anything. THEY ruin OTHER'S game times, so that excuse is weak.
And this is the case with only one hacker.
Imagine around 14 in the past week, yeah, that's how many of these creatures i have met in the past week alone.
This new system isn't fantastic, it wont fix CC, no, in stead it brings me into the tragic truth about all of this:

Cubecraft is dead, given to the hackers on a silver platter, completely ignoring the cries of its true fans and friends, roaring for change, but you give it to the hackers anyway, and everything burns. And with this, i turn down my helper application. Not because im not good enough, but because this server has lost almost all hope. We have gotten to a time that i have to record SEVERAL 10:00 LONG VIDEOS EACH DAY TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO KEEP UP WITH THIS PLAGUE, and it all amounts to nothing. And the higher up staff have proven they dont care, and the ones who are responsible with keeping this server fun and secure, are honoring Nero, the roman emperor, and sitting back and watching their city burn to the ground. The truth is that at this rate, like a fearful old man clinging to life, you have to accept that hope is very nearly all gone. Prove me wrong without silencing this thread, its nearly impossible. I will use this quote to describe how things SHOULD be thought of by the higher ups: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" But they have shown favoritism to the monsters they have sworn to stop. With this, i likely say goodbye, a recently active player, to the server that he had thought could be a shining light through the darkness of microtransactions and broken donator systems, and so much more that plagues MC to this day.

NOTE: If the thread is locked for an illegitimate reason, of course ill fight it, but if they refuse to remove the lock, i will remove this thread.

No offense, but this thread is so exaggerated.
The 1-week-ban is rather a warning than a punishment. Appealing is not possible so the hacker will be banned for 1 week. No exceptions. If the hacker is smart enough to stop hacking after his personal warning, Cubecraft would have 1 nice player more. If the hacker is not smart enough and doesn't think about the consequence of continuing, he will get punished with a ban whichs is a month or longer.

COMES BACK ON AN ALT ACCOUNT OR A SEPARATE IP.
There is no infinite ammount of alternate accounts; every alternate account was bought by someone.
Changing IPs doesn't matter since Cubecraft does not IP-ban players.

Edit: Your poll doesn't give us a chance to give our oppinion.
"Yes, the hackers have won the server." Means that the hackers won.
"No, things aren't over yet." Means that it will be over soon.
The third one, which was too long to type, means that it will be over soon.
And "undecided" means we don't know...
Please, add a poll with "No, the new punishment system is good as it is now.".

wow that is just wow.
Dude you should write novels
And I think that people that cheat at video games aren't evil with black hearts.
I think that the new punishment system should be changed, but not a prem ban right away.
If you try out hacks once get cought and are actually sorry you should get another chance.

Sorry, i just store a lot of hatred for those who abuse power for malicious purposes because they dont feel like putting in the time and effort to, so to say, "git gud"

I mentioned the problem with the week ban. And a lot of hackers really just dont care. If they are banned, they will just go onto another server, screw that one up and them come back after the ban is up, which really isnt that long.
Because of what you said, it seems like instead it goes like this:
CC's system isnt innocent until proven guilty, its innocent until proven guilty twice, then justice is served, kind of. Let me put a drastic yet realistic take on this:
Lets say somebody is murdered, and the suspect recorded himself killing the victim, and the evidence is recorded legally, but all they get is a warning, and maybe a fine, then when he kills somebody and records himself again, THEN he is sent to jail. How much time is wasted on just warning the killer instead of bringing them to justice? its a drastic example, yet one that fits into this situation.

TL;DR:
Hackers dont care about a one week or a one month ban, its just an annoyance to them. Most dont learn, they just adapt, then come back, and then more new and old ones flood in because so much time is wasted on one.

NOTE: Let me fix that, i was rushed in the last part because of something i was doing in another game, but it was my fault, so ill fix it.

That's not what I meant...
Im sorry, i didnt understand it that well. And i never blamed them for the problem. Its all so many people's fault, but that doesnt matter, what matters is how to fix it, and banning hackers for 1 week on their first offense, especially when there are hundreds or even thousands (god no) running around seems very stupid. I find at least 2-3 hackers every day, so ill respect the staff when they earn it, and right now, there isn't anything i can compliment them on except their insanity. "Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result" I cannot respect the staff for solving a problem that they didnt solve. For every one hacker banned, four more come, they are banned, then by the time that is over, then the original one comes back.

All you can do is your part by reporting as much as you can. If you become a moderator then you can ban every hacker you see!

You can't solve problems like hacking in three seconds. They made a new punishment system. It is a complex one and a lot of people don't understand how it works and why it is actually really good.

Staff members aren't here to ban players. Yes, it is one of the most important factors in their voluntary job, but it's not the only thing they are good for. A little more respect wouldn't be too bad in this situation, to be honest! Cubecraft is one of the biggest servers, but they have a too little staff team to handle all the reports. The survival server where I used to be staff on, had more than a hundred players every day, but yet we had a bigger staff team. So again, respect for what they are doing for us would be nice...

Even if the staff members aren't originally supposed to ban players, it is something that has become an issue right now, so even if they didnt choose to be in this position, they are anyway and they should fix it. I will keep my position until they prove me as a fool.

You need to be thankful for every hacker that they do ban. Why don't you just start a very successful server with thousands of people playing on it and keep every single hacker off the server with a limited team. Good Luck.

When did i say that they had to do it alone?
Anticheats, hiring more experienced people, pushing other large servers to follow suit.
There are many, many different things that CC can do but have not done to at least tone down the situation as much as possible. And I do not understand what it is like to own a server, but what i do know is common sense and experiences. I do not claim to know all of the answers, but i try to answer these questions on how to stop this to the best of my ability. I will not waver in my opinion. I have been to many, many servers, which all were annihilated by the constant threat of hackers appearing constantly. Having to go from server to server made me grow self aware on what was happening, but most importantly, WHY it was happening. Nobody will waver my opinion as much as i will waver theirs. I take this very seriously, and i do not wish to see another server devolve into another dry, empty husk inhabited by people not caring about other's feelings, except for their own satisfaction.

I never said they had to 100% fix the problem, but they had to fix it so it isn't as bad as it is now.
I will not respect them as they stay fixated in their own insanity. Nothing you tell me will turn me against that opinion.

hiring? this is all volunteer for a reason. and anti cheats are unreliable and can kick innocent player and have bad side effects. They TRY, you should respect them because they are doing more than you are right now to solve the problem. I am done with you being selfish and not realizing all they have done for the players. Have you seen the 5000 reports of hackers that there are? They have lives too. As you may have noticed helpers are open for application. They are trying to get more people. People like you who are just complaining are not helping. You have to give others a chance if they have been hacking. You never know if they are unaware of the rules for teaming. Or maybe their friends told them to get them for "power ups" or something. Most of the time they hack to win. They will not all hack for 7 months as most are smarter than this.

I cannot talk with somebody unwilling to listen. Hackers run rampant because of the system's Inability to punish cheaters effectivly and efficiently. And for this reason I cannot respect them. Take overwatch for example. The cheaters over there are being rightly angulated for breaking the rules. First offense is a tight ban. The only players complaining are privileged cheaters believing they can break the rules without punishment, and cheating is a minor issue being repressed by blizzard doing the right thing for their true consumers and smashing the illegitimate players. And cubecraft, in its stupidity, allowed hackers to run rampant, so they should fix it. Your arguments do not help the situation. All it does it prove how little you understand about the situation and what I am talking about.
And I meant HIRING as LETTING MORE EXPIRIENCED PEOPLE AND PROGRAMS IN.

Goodbye sir.

I won't even be thankful for that because it does nothing. With every one hacker banned, two more take its place. The rules allow this to happen. The rules, IMO, are pro-hacking and anti-rules
