This will make EggWars more fun

Hey guys,

So I really like playing EggWars (especially the new update made it much more fun)
Since the EggWars maps are quite big, I think it would be great if a player-tracker will be added to the EggWars shop. Me and my friends often have to search the last player which takes quite long. This can be prevented with a player-tracker.

The player-tracker will work the same as the SkyWars player-tracker. Right-Clicking on it will focus the nearest player of the enemy team.

I think 5 diamonds will be a good price for a player tracker. Other wise you can just camp on your island with a player-tracker which might become too op.

First of all, skywars and eggwars are not the same game. They have different objectives, and therefore should have different items available in game. In skywars, your objective is to kill every other player. In this case, a player tracker would make sense because you are looking for people to eliminate. However, in egg wars your objective isn't just to kill everyone else, but also break their egg.

Which brings me to my second point: Egg Wars requires stealth. Many players use stealth to their advantage when it comes to breaking eggs. A big part of that strategy relies on the fact that the opposing team doesn't know where you are. Giving the enemy team a player tracker makes that strategy completely useless.

If your egg has been destroyed, your main priority is staying alive. The best way to do that is to avoid being spotted by the other team. If they don't know where you are they can't kill you.

I seriously don't get you. I know it's hard to win a game when you're the last person alive. But many people don't even try to win the game. They just start hiding. Adding a player-tracker will prevent this. EggWars is currently 'Hide and Seek 2.0 ' which ruins the game.

Also a player tracker doesn't remove the whole stealth part of EggWars. I agree it's better if the player-tracker becomes available in the shop when all eggs are broken...

In the last sentence you're saying that this update is not fun for everyone. I agree its not fun for the CAMPERS. You're actually defending campers in this post.

But I think the compass isn't a good idea because: 75% of all egs which get destroyed get destroyed without the person of that team knowing. With the compass you can easily check if there is anyone sneaking up on you, which I think totally ruins the game. I like the sneaking and not being seen and than SURPRISE EGG DOWN. Personally I would rather spend 15 minutes finding the last guy in stead of not being able to be the assassin I like to be.

Honestly , i think that this is a very good idea. Let me explain why. When i'm playing eggwars and destroy one of the teams egg , the players of that team will instantly run away and camp , which is VERY annoying in my opinion , but yeah i do the same thing when my egg is destroyed but i'm not that type of person that will build to the sun and camp on a block thats on the edge of it ( this happened to me more then once in the map Space you can build to the sun , moon , stars etc.) it would take me and my team almost 15 minutes to find the camper, i could be playing a whole other round of eggwars in 15 minutes. So my opinion on this thread is very clear , add the compass but add it for a price that wouldn't be to cheap , something like 10 diamonds.

Again, I am NOT defending campers. I am defending those who chose to move throughout the map without being seen. Just because I don't want a player tracker doesn't mean I support camping.
