SkyWars Top 50 rank

I recently got into the top 50 in skywars duos and would like to know if one day cubecraft will add something special for those who have reached the top 50 in any minigame

I am sorry but I don’t see any reason why adding a rank to every player on the leaderboards would be a good idea.

The leaderboards switch everyday and you would constantly have to remove ranks and give out new ranks. I could see there being a rank for the top three players on every leaderboard, but not all fifty players.

It would be straight chaos in my opinion.

They don't have to Update the rank manually, its actually pretty easy to implement a system that checks your current position and displays it next to your username. But i am not sure if thats a good thing. I am top 20 in SG right now and i am not sure but maybe some people dont want to play with decent players and quit as soon as they see a leaderboard position because they think they dont stand a chance

Yeah, I’m also thinking that people will start playing the game for the sole purpose of getting a rank. Not playing because it’s fun by because they want a rank.

This should probably be requested in feedback and suggestions.

My opinion is that you should earn a custom prefix or something such as “<insert gamemode> Champion>“ if you ever make it, and you don’t lose it if you fall off the leaderboard.

Yeah I agree. I had an idea once for lb rewards but after reading this, I see how that could be a problem.

It can all be automated very easily, I would say make it a suffix instead. Just a little "#<placement>" next to your name in chat. That could also be added for anyone, every person on the server having their leaderboard placement in the certain gamemode next to their name.
