Totem of undying is not op on egg wars, the void will still kill anyone, way to deal with people using this is to make them consume it then run away until the effects go away (40 sec) and then they just wasted 50 Diaz for nothing.

Usually the way to deal with totems is to make them consume it and then kill them while they still are distracted by the totem animation. The totem really isn't that op, it has to be held in your hand so you cant use a shield at the same time and it doesn't make you invincible after it acdivates, only gives absorbtion and regeneration 2.

also because even updating to 1.12 without making another remake of the server it wouldn't have the same versions also yeah chances are that this would break some of the games I wouldn't be surprised by it

Spigot 1.12 has been released already. Minecraft 1.12 will be released in a few days. Obviously they can't update today, that's just ridiculous. Updating the games will most definitely require some work, so it's a bit late to decide to update after 1.12 is out.

I'm not sure what you are saying there, of course if they update the version it wouldn't be the same versions anymore. It would definitely be possible to have the lobbies run on spigot 1.9 with protocol hacks so 1.9 to 1.12 clients can join and have the game servers on spigot 1.12, while showing 1.9 to 1.11 clients a warning that they need to update in order to play the games.
