Recently I’ve seen many smaller team requests for tower defence. I agree there should be different size teams but this is not about that. This is about the classic TD game mode removed not too far from the Chunk/Cubecraft merge. This was an amazing classic. The last post I could find relating to this was in 2016 but I know from others that they remember the game and miss the mode also. I miss the aspect of the game that wasn’t all competitive and had a beautiful cooperative nature. I hope this is something you can consider returning to the game.

The way I would lay out the game would be/ How I’d return it to its former glory:

-1 Team of 8-12 players
-Set waves of Monsters come from four identical path directions towards the middle (the castle)
-All team members work together to defend the castle.
-A set constant income + extra money for killing monsters as it is in the current game mode.
-Voteable sub modes:
•Endless-See how long you can survive with constant waves of mobs until the inevitably fail.
•Set waves- A certain amount of pre programmed waves that if/once complete you win the game.
•Hardcore- 1/2 the amount of Mobs per wave but 2x the price per tower (double start money for balancing reasons).

I hope this is considered as there is still interest but people simply don’t talk about it actively on the forums. I hope that the OG players and staff also haven’t forgotten.

I personally wouldn't play this mode, because tower defense is already a game mode that takes long. In normal TD you can just rush and end it fairly quick, but in this mode, if you need to play till the end to win, a game will then take very long or you die and don't get the win. Cubecraft now does not have enough players for this gamemode in my opinion.

Very well I see your point. It is just a game that used to be loved and some people still would love to play.

Cubecraft has changed since then. Now its just tryhard and being toxic. Almost everyone plays for levels or leaderboards, so that's why there are not enough players for this.

I see the change but perhaps if released on bedrock there is a chance. Newer players with different ambitions and more ideas. I still have hope.

That can indeed be added, there are more and newer players on bedrock. I just hope it would be easy to play the game on bedrock, because if your on a phone it may be hard to get the placements well, but I don't have a lot of experience with bedrock.

Reading this make me think back to BTD 5. When the balloons come from 4 different places. It would be interesting on how this can be added into game play. I suggest it to be game mode that can be voted. I'm not 100% how I feel about it, but if its up like beta eggwars I would give it a try.
