You do reallize that no one will ever use ice tower ever again except for cave spiders correct?

Yes, that's why I wanted to revoke that tower and add a new one. Didn't you see the Sandstorm Tower?

Spiketrack Factory.

This tower will lay down spiketracks on the ground, inflicting damage on the mobs dumb enough to step on these.
(I couldn't figure out how to insert images from my computer into this entry, so I added them as files. The damage, costs and range of these machines can be tweaked a bit if needed. Sorry if I added to many screenshots to this post, I wasn't sure how many to add :/ )

Hopefully people like this idea :D

Sticky Tower!

The tower creates a cobweb wall, making mobs 3-5 seconds stuck in the cobweb . When the mobs are stuck in the cobweb give it other towers time to deal extra damage to the mobs. After 3-5 seconds the cobweb wall goes away. This tower does not affect Cave spiders and Spiders, This tower is super
effective against all flying mobs. This tower does not deal any damage, it only give other towers more time to kill the mobs. Suggested price: 500 points. Upgrade to tier 2, 250 points. Upgrade to tier 3, 350 points. Upgrade to tier 4, 450 points.

Why should this tower be added? I've played like 20 games of tower defence, And I've noticed that fly troops are pretty overpowerd because not many towers can deal much damage to them. like endermites. so I worked out this idea to make fly mobs less overpowerd. And I think this tower will help alot :D.

I love the video presentation ! and this would prove kind of usefull.

Lingering potion effects of slowness appear in front of it slowing down all mobs a little bit.
Tier 2

The fire resistance lingering effect is shortened and slowness and weakness are lengthened from 6 to 12 blocks.

Price of tower: 500 and Tier x 150 per upgrade. Tier 1 = 150, Tier 2 = 300, Tier 3 = 450, Tier 4 = 600

Hypnosis Tower
Hypnotizes one or more enemies, causing them to turn and attack their teammates for a couple of seconds. Hypnotized enemies cannot be shot by towers during the effect. After being hypnotized, mobs cannot be hypnotized again. After each hypnosis, there is a small cooldown time
Works on a queue system, which means that every mob takes up a specific amount of the queue. Example: Queue is 5. Mob X has unit value 3. Hypnotizing this mob will take up 3 queue spots, leaving 2 queue spots. Once Mob X' hypnosis time ends, queue becomes empty.
Hypnotized mobs cannot be attacked by teammates, and neither of the teams actual players can harm the mobs.
Cost: 700 coins
Stats (Range, upgrade cost, queue amount, hypnotization time, cooldown time):
Tier I: 10 blocks, N/A, queue is 2, hypnosis lasts 5 seconds, cooldown time is 3 seconds
Tier II 11 blocks, 200 coins, queue is 4, hypnosis lasts 7 seconds, cooldown time is 2.5 seconds
Tier III: 11 blocks, 300 coins, queue is 5, hypnosis lasts 9 seconds, cooldown time is 2 seconds
Tier IV: 12 blocks, 400 coins, queue is 8, hypnosis lasts 11 seconds, cooldown time is 1.5 seconds

This tower has infinite range, but only fires when a nearby player is sneaking (worshipping the shrine). It shoots fireballs at random targets on both teams lanes and does more damage if there are more people worshipping it. Can attack all mobs. This tower can be useful when there are more mobs on your lane than on your opponents lane.

Unlock Cost: 1500

Tier I:

Shoots 1 fireball every 3 seconds at a random target.
Cost: 1500

Tier II:
Shoots 2 fireballs every 3 seconds at random targets.
Cost: 1000

Tier III:
Shoots 3 fireballs every 3 seconds at random targets.
Cost: 1500

My new tower design is going to be called The Suffocation Tower. What it will do is drop gravel/sand on the mobs and have it take damage. It would have the sand on the mob for a certain amount of time depending on its level. This is going to be a 5x5 tower with 3 levels. It will cost 1000 to start and 1upgrade 150 2upgrade 300

This tower is called Poseidon and attacks troops from the nether (especially blazes and magma cubes, they are pretty strong) by "cooling" them with water. Troops from nether dont like water so it will hurt them, but not too much :P. it is 5x5 and in my opinion it should cost 800 coins :) (water particles would be nice on this tower)

This is my (hopefully) unique tower idea!


My tower is called the: "Gust Tower"


The Gust Tower Pushes all flying mobs within a 7X7 block radius to the ground for 5 seconds to be affected by towers that can only shoot ground monsters. The Gust Tower activates every 10 seconds



Weakness:
Only pushes blazes down for 3 seconds


Strengths:
Pushes Endermites and Silverfish down for 7 seconds

This is my own original idea and I know because I had looked all over the thread and find none like this and none of the other existing towers can generate gold for you for every thing this tower kills.This Tower attacks enemy mobs and with every mob killed by this tower the owner of the tower earns coins for them, but it is not much though. The Ore Tower attacks by shooting various Diamond/Gold/Iron/Coal Ores, Gold/Iron Ingots, Diamonds, and Coal.

Doesn't Effect:
Flying Troops (Why: Can't Find Ores in the Air)
Creepers (Why: Explodes Ores/Valuables)

Weakness:
Magma Cubes (.5x Damage Done to Magma Cubes)
Wither Boss (.25x Damage Done to Wither Boss)

This is my submission:

The energy tower:

LVL 1


LVL2


LVL3


LVL4


All of them lined up.


Stocks up on energy over time and unleashes it all once enemies come walking past it.
Will do 40% more damage on flying enemies.

With every upgrade it will be able to stock up on more energy:

LVL1 - 3 shots
LVL2 - 4 shots
LVL3 - 5 shots
LVL4 - 6 shots

As for price, i was thinking about 800.

Forgot to mention that per shot it should take about 5 seconds to regenerate,
and that the damage per shot should also slighty upgrade per LVL up.
