Hello CubeCrafters!
One year of growth and development for our Translation Team has now passed! Just like the beginning of any other project or team, our journey began with very simple steps - creation of a small Discord server - and continued to the long road to the future, filled with hundreds of difficulties.
The lack of resources has always been one of our greatest challenges. It resulted in a huge translation delay that kept going on for months in a row. Throughout our experience, we have tried many different ways to support our Java and Bedrock translations projects. All of them were unfortunately quite inconvenient and slow, requiring the help of dozens of volunteers to run.
This ends today! CubeCraft Games finally has an effective Java and Bedrock translation system that is expected to release translations on these platforms a lot more intensively from now on.
Translations Release
In the last 70 days, our translation team members have managed to translate, proofread, work together to assure the quality of and implement over 82 000 translations across our Java and Bedrock platforms. We have provided support for the following languages, with more to come:
- Arabic
- Bulgarian
- Catalan
- Czech
- Danish
- Dutch
- Finnish
- German
- Hungarian
- Italian
- Polish
- Portuguese (BR)
- Portuguese (EU)
- Russian
- Spanish
- Swedish
- Turkish
Please keep in mind that our translation process is still at the very beginning. That means it happens fairly frequently for issues to be spotted in the translations. Our translation team always has and always will do our best to continue growing in numbers and languages, continue improving existing translations and providing the network with new ones.
To change your language on our Java network, all you need to do is select it in the settings menu. On Bedrock, you need to change the language of your client, and then your game will be in the selected language after you come back on the server.
Issues can be reported at
https://reports.cubecraft.net/ (Java) and
https://cbecrft.net/bedrockreports (Bedrock).
Thank you for your attention! If you are interested in helping the cause of the translation team, keep your eyes peeled for the reopening of the translator applications!
