Hey! So I had this idea for a new minigame that could bring something innovative and fun to CubeCraft: Treasure Hunt.

Main Idea

The idea is simple: you spawn in a very big map with different biomes or zones (like forests, caves, deserts, mountains), and the goal is to explore and collect as many treasures as you can before the timer runs out. You can play solo or in small teams of 2/4 players.

How it works

Chests spawn in random places every match, so it's never the same twice. (Perhaps 2 or 4 per zone?).

Each chest contains two main things:
  • Coins (points) to win the game. The player/team with more coins wins the game. (Maybe 100-200 Coins per chests)
  • Power-ups, like:
- Speed boost for 10–15 seconds: COMMON

- Permanent jump boost level 1: COMMON

- Temporary night vision potions for cave areas: RARE

- Compass that points to the nearest unopened chest: EXTRA RARE

Fake trap chests will spawn, those would trigger traps (hostile mobs, slowness, etc.)

Clue System

(this could be voted before starting the game).

By voting this, a few of the chests would contain clues (like short messages) that hint at the location of a high-value treasure.

For example: “Where the water falls but never rises, the prize waits behind the mist.” (this could mean the high-value treasure is located behind a waterfall)

These special chests would give more coins and have more chances to give rarest power-ups, but would take more effort to find.

If any of these are found, a big title and sound would appear in every users' game.

Extra Mechanics

  • Some areas could have light PvP or hostile mobs to make things more exciting. (Perhaps, this could be an aspect to vote before the game starts).
  • Tools like a shovel or axe might help in certain spots (e.g., digging up buried treasure or breaking wooden walls).
  • The game could last around 7-15 minutes, depending on the map's size.
  • Perhaps there would be nice to have a map shrinking or fog mechanic as deadmatch.

My Opinion

I feel like this exploration, strategy, and kinda lucky gamemode would be something totally different from the usual PvP grind and could even have seasonal or themed maps (pirate treasure, haunted ruins, etc.).

What do you think? Would you play this minigame?

Personally I feel like this would be a great suggestion, of course we already have the Treasure hunt in the lobby (atleast, on Java, not sure if it's on Bedrock), and this could be something to make it more entertaining, and slightly competitive.

Thanks for the follow :)
We need a stronger bot in FFA Battle Arena. The hack is detected immediately if the vip is 30 it is checked immediately. Because it is a farce that everyone has become if they cannot outperform you they use cheating methods. 30vip should be treated special
You know you're starting to get old when big shopping sprees for organizers and laundry stuff gets you excited ;-;
Literally also spent 3 hours in a huge store for kitchen supplies and all that stuff LMAO
Now that the server hit 2k players again, we need more non-pvp games so bring Minerware back to java :)
