Trialing a Rank?

So I was thinking that what if there could be perks to buy but it doesnt go with ranks. Like lets say... you want to be able to vote in eggwars. You can purchase the right to vote for... lets say a day for now. That way cubecraft is earning money to support the server and the players with stone ranks can try out something new like voting (players with Iron and lapiz get too as well) would this be cool? Like a trial gold rank? Or something. Trial ranks! You could test it out. I think this would be pretty cool


Edit: So people could easily exploit this and they would be able to farm vanity points. So instead it would be a few hours, not a few days.


Another thing is if its possible, then players can only buy this temporary perk like 3-10 times because people could just buy this over and over and not buy a lifetime rank. But honestly, the money would build up to cost the same as a lifetime rank. So maybe like 3-5 times


Shorter Description: Someone would be able to purchase a rank for a few hours and see how it feels to be a donator. Then if they like the rank, then they could buy a life time purchase

That would be completely unfair for premium users, especially Obsidian users. They paid over 150 dollars to use that and now all of a sudden you can buy a "lobby fly" for like 2 dollars. Maybe it is just me, but I say no.

Temporary ranks seem counterproductive. Not sure about you, but if I wanted to buy a rank and have a specific perk with it, I'd want to keep it for a while (permanently). If you want to see how items are with specific voting options, get a friend to vote, or watch some videos on YouTube. You can make a justified conclusion thereonwards.

If a rank, however, is on a monthly subscription based purchase to aid someone who may be less financially able to purchase a rank altogether, then I'm all for it.

That is what I mean. But maybe not 30 days, it would be like renting a storing space. It depends on how long you want to rent the rank. Like example, 30days for renting could be like $30 or 1day for like $1 or something like that

You would be able to choose how long you get to rent it, like maybe a max of 30 days or something. But it would be nice if it was a few hours rather than a few days

Ok cool, so what I was trying to say was lets say someone wants to see how it feels to have a rank on their screen but they just want to play with it for like a few hours to see if they want to make a grand purchase

no, I mean like they would be able to purchase a rank for a less amount of money, but it would not be lifetime. It would be like a few hours

You don't need to have a rank to know what voting is like
I do however think it would be fine as a subscription option for buying

Sounds ok, but in a way it would punish those players that try it and then decide to stay on the server and keep the rank for a longer time. Maybe for each month you subscribed you could get 80-100% of the monthly subscription cost off the permanent rank if you decide to buy it later.

My opinion:

I don't and when I say I don't I really don't like temporary ranks. Lifetime ranks is just better just pay 30$ for once instead of 10$ 3 times. -1

Edit: The point of buying a rank is to support the server and get extra perks, if you just buy the perk, ranks are going to be useless.
