Two Things That Would be Nice

Hello! I am a long-time CubeCraft player, donator, and YouTuber (who has made countless videos on your server). I have no doubt that your server is exceptionally well-made, which is why I am proposing two small ideas that could make an impact. I hope you enjoy these two ideas and take them into consideration:

1. Option to set a certain kit as a default kit- In games like Skywars and Hunger Games, one of the best options is to be able to choose a kit to help you get a head start at the beginning of games. However, it is possible to make the player able to set a specific kit as their default so they do not have to re-select their main kit every new game. A small idea that I know I would enjoy.

2. Option (Gold Rank+) to vote for 1.8 or 1.9 PvP in Skywars/Hunger Games- One of the biggest changes that came with Minecraft update 1.9 was the change in attack system, which many people including myself find to be extremely annoying sometimes. There are servers that have their fighting set in the 1.8 (pre 1.9) style of combat which is very nice. Instead of changing all the combat games on your server to pre-1.9 style, I propose a voting system where we can choose whether or not we would like 1.8 or 1.9 style PvP at the beginning of games.

I totally agree with you first point, I'd like to see it in eggwars too, as many people forget to choose their kit before game, this could be a life-saver.
One small thing I find difficult for this idea to be actually "good" is, changing votes at the last second example: someone votes for hardcore in the last second in an eggwars game..
1.8 pvp in 1.9 pvp is so different than pvping 1.8 in the actual 1.8 network. Cubecraft is more 1.9 based server, since there are small number of people playing in the 1.8 network, having a 1.8 version of each game is pointless. If people had the chance to vote for the pvp style before games, everybody's gonna vote for 1.9 pvp, because it requires more "skills", plus adding this, will cause people to leave their game if it is not the PVP style they wanted.

The first one I would see happening, not so much the second one as you can just go to 1.8 and play CCGN as they have 2 servers on 1.9 and 1.8 (Both on the same IP)

Would be useless for Skywars since it's already in the 1.8 Network but I wouldn't mind this for SG and some other 1.9 games.
Though the 1.9 without cooldown doesn't really provide the best 1.8 experience.

About point 1: I totally agree with you on that point because I find myself struggling to choose a kit. Maybe make it that you can set your own default?? Point 2: i dont think that this would be happening since that not so many players are 1.8 anymore.

First point, is not a bad idea I like it but it takes 1 second to choose your kit, and the time your saving is nothing at all
Your second point, I don't like it because you cant play 1.9 and then play 1.8 for voting, it cant be like that. If you want to play 1.8 or 1.9 then just change the version no need for voting.

I agree with the first point, but the second one, 1.9 combat system changed combos too. I loke the combo system and tried 1.8 with it.
But this would be nice if it was a voting thing, although many players that like 1.9 and they cant vote, would not be happy. So I some what agree

I like your first idea, but if you want 1.8 PvP you should play 1.8 and not 1.12.

i completely agree with your first point, and with your second point to allow that to happen it would only be possible in the 1.9 version because in the 1.8 version the 1.9style of attacking isnt in the system. also what you have suggested is basically out for eggwars and skywars. but it isnt a bad idea to consider doing the same for the other games. there are many players who are unable to play in versions 1.9 or higher as the fps and quality of those versions are too high.

I basically agree with almost all the other replies. Your first idea is good, but I disagree with the second. People come on cubecraft FOR the 1.9 PvP (and the great server, games, etc.) and having a change that major put as a voting option would make a lot of people angry.
Just my opinion.

I agree your first option, but i dont agree that voting. because cubecraft need money to keep the server so if people buy a higher rank they can do more and that is what people want!
