This wouldn't change the experience though, to be honest, OP and Normal mode (eggwars that is) dont differ pvp-wise, there is no other way of pvp'ing (not counting in hardcore as axes are stronger and such). In OP mode the fights usually last longer because higher protection levels will save more damage dealt than sharpness will deal extra.
All they differ in is in cost for the extra items, often making people getting better gear quicker, your suggestion of higher prot and sharpnesslevels is a 100% no from me as it'll encourage people to spamclick more, just to get the gear broken. It wouldn't make sense to actually fight each other as pretty much 0 damage would be dealt anyways.
I guess stuff would be even cheaper in Ultra-OP but honestly, I don't think we really need that, players that wanna start fighting early go play OP and players who dont will play Normal, again, leaving Hardcore outside of this because (to me) it feels like a whole different game and other type of gamestrategies are needed to be succesfull.
