Void Instant Death

I've played a few games of Eggwars where all the eggs are eliminated and there are under four players from each team. Mostly everyone is stacked with gear such as diamond armor, diamond swords with sharpness, power five bows, enchanted golden apples, and ender pearls. Sometimes when I am being attacked by two people on a bridge or near the edge of a block, I throw an ender pearl to save myself. Then, every single time, I am knocked off the edge and insta-killed by the void before the ender pearl lands. Eating enchanted golden apples and having full health has no effect on the void in CubeCraft. However, In vanilla Minecraft, the void does damage instead of just flat out killing you. How many of you would like the void to do damage instead of insta-killing?

i think changing it would only make games take even longer as people can run away more easily. there are already a lot of people complaining about games being "too long" (boy, you should have seen eggwars years ago when it took hours per game)

i agree, pearl clutching on mobile is hard enough, and the void insta killing u doesnt help
