Introduction:
Hello. Welcome to another one of my suggestions. This is definitely the most controversial one by far. A discussion of the Vip experience and gifting. So at this current moment of time, if you were to win a giveaway, or your friend was feeling kind or anything like that, they would gift an item to you. Now the way this works for any beginners out there is you go to gift menu in the main lobby, click purchase gifts, and you can pick an item from the CubeCraft store. Then it will go to your gifts inventory and you can give it away to anyone. If you were to purchase let's say the ice bundle and give it away, the ice bundle is worth 350 vxp. You would receive that amount of vxp, but the person you gifted to would receive nothing.

My Idea to make this better
I think only the gifter getting xp is slightly unfair. In my opinion, the gifter will get the vxp but the giftee probably a made up word would receive a percentage of the amount of vxp, in this case, 350. Now you may be wondering, how could this improve cube? Well, it could make gifting more woth it I suppose. Because if you were to have a custom cosmetic for every item, what else do you want from purchasing items, vxp. Reason? Vxp gives more cosmetics, username colours, unlocking to skywars chaos, and much more. This would be a joy to be added for people who dislike spending money on microtransactions.

The argument against it.
After thinking, this was the only thing I could come up with that cube could argue against this point with. Making purchasing items less profitable. They could say that that is basically like getting 400-600 xp from 5.99 instead of 7.99, but I honestly see no point in that. Also, it's not like they get the same amount of vxp so it wouldn't make them too common. I just want my name red to be honest but I'm sure many people would enjoy the other perks vxp gives you.

Nope, if u buy it u recieve the vipxp, because that is just something only for players who put money into the server

I personally agree with this suggestion, especially since the amount the gifted player receives would only be a portion of the original VXP amount

I’m VIP Level 9; I have been at this level for a while and am 200 VXP away from leveling up.
The maximum potential VIP Experience that I could theoretically have if I had all of the VXP from gifted items would bring me from Level 9 to Level 12 (and very close to Level 13); this is for context purposes and this kind of VXP increase is not what this thread is suggesting

I can understand why gifts don’t give the recipient all of the VXP; rather there’s the fact that I’m still at Level 9 (and very close to Level 10) at the exact same amount of VXP. I know that VIP Levels have an emphasis on how much you personally spend, but something about +0 VXP for every gift that a person receives feels odd; 0 can be 0 out of any amount: 0 out of 250, 0 out of 350, 0 out of 750, etc. Multiply any of these values by 2 or 3 to represent multiple owned gifts and it’s still 0

Aside from that, here are some reasons supporting this suggestion:

1)
A player receiving a gift is already a rare enough occurrence, so it wouldn’t substantially lower the value of VXP, especially since the recipient would only receive a certain percentage of the original VXP.

The average player who has received a gift likely has only one, and someone whose level increases by 1 after receiving a gift isn’t anywhere close to VIP Level 30

Also, the recipient of a gift is probably more likely to be an active player, so players who would receive VXP with a gift likely wouldn’t be just any given player.
Someone would be less likely to buy a gift for a friend who’s rarely ever online in CubeCraft. Also, players who enter giveaways are generally going to be more active on the server as well.

2)
You cannot own 2 of the same item as far as I know, and most players (realistically speaking) aren’t out to collect all of the Ranks and Bundles

For me personally, I tend to only buy things that I really want and I gain VIP Levels through what I happen to purchase. I’m not going to want every Bundle or Rank, and the ones I’m most interested in are the ones I’m most likely to enter in a giveaway for

Players are going to have different spending habits, and I feel like the VXP system indirectly favors a certain kind when it comes to receiving a gift

Lastly, I feel like receiving a gift might increase the chance of a recipient buying something else on their own, and this would especially be the case if they received some VIP experience to see the reward in action.
It would also improve player satisfaction in general. With gifts there seems to be a slight disconnect between VIP Levels and owning a Rank or Bundle (which seems to typically be associated with VIP Levels). I can imagine it feeling quite odd being VIP Level 1 with 0 VXP and having a Rank; now imagine if that person had 2 or 3 gifted ranks; that would be even more awkward, xD

What Percentage?
I’d say a percentage of 20% might work, though it would sort of depend on what the VXP threshold is for VIP Levels

I dont think this is a good idea, as VXP is our paid currency and should ideally only be given to people actually supporting our server.
But the reason it's not possible in the first place, is that our system that calculates the VXP is based on purchases. You would need to rewrite the entire purchase system and that is just not worth it.
