I don't really think you can compare the two, considering the Discord is more for casual chatter, whereas the forums function as a place where community members can post their larger scale projects, creations as well as suggest ideas and keep up with the latest changes in a more professional manner.

That being said, if I would have to choose between the two, I would go for the forums, as I enjoy posting suggestions and other long threads as opposed to short form messages leading to shallow chats in the Discord.

My thoughts exactly. Discord is typically casual, while the forums are almost always kept formal, or at the very least respectful.

This does, however, mean that some people don't feel capable of fully showcasing their personalities. I use Discord a lot more because it feels much quicker to me, but I still think the forums are "better" in terms of content, as people are thinking about what they post a lot more.

I prefer the discord, as there are many conversations going on at the same ime, being discussed in a small amout if time. You often get replies there within minutes while you have to wait up to multiple hours on the forums to get am answer.

However the forums are better for questions that might have a high relevance and have potential to be discussed for multiple days. On the forums it is easier to get a long text from an expert, explaining everything in the smallest details, which is why i cam completely understand if people prefer the forums.

To be honest, the discord and the forums are hard to compare, as both are pretty important but serve slightly different purposes.

The Forums are way less complicated and more simple and easy to learn and get use to and you recognize people over and over while in the discord it’s only high vip levels talking with mods and people who have been there for a while.
