The archer does have more defence than it needs, but the beast at close range is still the better option. You think an archer could shoot seven crit arrows on a close-range target? No.
It's still the most defensive kit in the game.

How so? You keep neglecting the fact that the Beast kit was 30% superior to the second-best kit. Old FFA forced you to use one kit, and punished you for not doing so. You now have more freedom in which style of PvP you want to use, rather than being forced to use a low-DPS sword with high defence armour.
I have nothing against teaming. I do however, have a thing against clans harassing solo players without there being any counter to them. Let's not play the "you're triggered" game, because you're the one complaining here.
I'm trying to engage in a debate, whereas you're labeling people and offering no solutions to the things you're upset about. I've proven my point: the old FFA kits were horribly imbalanced, and punished you for not conforming to a specific play-style. As of now, FFA is still imbalanced, but that will be resolved shortly. We're now able to use different play-styles without being at a heavy disadvantage for doing so.

What does throwing insults accomplish? You should state your opinion (likely being that the update is a poor one), state why you think this, and offer a solution to what you see is a problem.
I honestly didn't consider this, but it's an interesting dilemma to address. I personally don't mind shoppers since I tend to just avoid those I don't wish to fight, but this could be a problem for a lot of people. Do you have any solutions to this potential problem? Usually I'd think of some myself, but it's four in the morning and my brain is on sleep mode.samurai kit is making it cheaper to purchase gear making there be more shoppers everywhere
I have a solution to both problems.I agree with the fact that people would be punished if they didnt conform to playing a certain kit, but nothing has really changed because wizard kit dominates. I go on and look around and see everyone in wizard kit. I hope this is fixed soon, and maybe a 5 second cooldown on arrows would be nice to prevent bow spam
How many times do i have to say. It. Was. Fine. How. It. WAS!!! The game didnt need any changing! yes it might be your most played game on the server but how much total time do you have on there??? im damn sure it isnt over 30 days. I am a looong term player of FFA and i think that i would know more about the game than you would. And yes, a bow is a weapon, and bowspamming will always be a thing, but there is no reason to make bowspam more annoying than it already is.
Absolutely true, and it is very frustrating. Sorta funny as well though, when somebody attacks you and you literally kill them in one hit due to poison. This will hopefully be fixed in the next couple of days or so, but in the meantime we'll have to make do. I'd try to see the days leading up to the rebalance as a BETA of sorts. Don't take the game as seriously during this time, and try to just familiarise yourself with the changes made.but nothing has really changed because wizard kit dominates. Sorry, but I think that would totally kill the archer. It would be far too difficult for them to keep a gap between their opponent, and the kit's near totally helpless at close range.maybe a 5 second cooldown on arrows would be nice to prevent bow spam

The beast kit must have a shield. That would help a lot.
As for the shop , they should remove armour from it. Shoppers are annoying.
Low durability shirld so if you keep holding it it will breakAnd a shield, that would just be even more cancer. Nothing would EVER die. Prot two was perfect

Yeah, crazy how the match-up between those two kits has changed so drastically overnight. I honestly don't think the Archer needs as much protection as it has, since it can now survive a fall from even the tallest of buildings. Protection I would've been fine. Beast could also do with Prot II on maybe two pieces of armour. The nerf to the Beast would've been fine, it's just with all the other kits receiving buffs it makes the Beast a lot worse than was probably intended.but now they have buffed close range combat for archers by decreasing protection on beast, archer is now good for long and close range which I dont think is fair.

I think the maps should be more complex so the archers can shoot from a long distance and have places to hide and parkour to escape with a 5 second cooldown, this will prevent spam and them being good for both close and short range because when I think of an archer I think of long to mid range combat, not close quarters.

Also since your maths and statistics are on point(Since you know that the beast kit was 30% better). Congrats you got the update you wanted and once ffa dies and all you have is one clan + some spammers, Cube will realise how trash their updates have been lately.

Game testersGOOD IDEA: Implement a system that allows specific staff members (not developers) to make immediate changes to the kits. It's just impossible for them to balance the kits behind our backs. If they thought the current Wizard was balanced or even "a bit OP", it's obvious the upcoming nerf won't fix it. Instead of presenting us the result, why not make small immediate changes while testing them with real players. Maybe people will find new strategies in the future that require additional changes.
