So as you might have noticed, about 5 months ago @Texbirds and I took a break from CubeCraft and the forums as a whole.
We really just needed to focus on other things at the time, but during that period we ended up playing on our friend's Minecraft server and we've made quite a lot of progress on there together so today we'll be showing you all that we've made so far.
Tex and I always wanted to build a house together, and we wanted to be able to show off what we built to the others that were playing with us. Everyone shared what they built and we wanted to as well. It was a real pain to build in survival as every now and then a creeper would come and destroy everything, or mobs would spawn in our unfinished roof because we forgot to light it up. Luckily we managed to finish the house - we built it just by looking at wall references and the rest was really up to our own imagination.
Enchantment corner, built by Tex (reference used)
Aquarium space on the way to the storage room :D
Bedroom by yours truly
Storage room by Tex! (He totally didn't copy it)
Our kitchen
Brewing corner by mua
The living room!
We also have an elevator in our house, which conveniently goes up and down. I honestly couldn't have been able to make one without Tex, he really did all of the work, all I did was decorate the outside (which is the 4th image in the house interior). Texbirds is the Redstone professional. The following spoiler contains some cool shots of the elevator in all its glory.
All of this part of the elevator was entirely built by Tex. The way it works is when stepping on the pressure plate, the water that usually pushes you down changes its direction and moves you all the way back up. The pressure plate was previously next to the elevator and I thought it'd look nicer in front of it. Tex explained how it was harder to make and I was really begging Texbirds to change it because I'm a perfectionist like that .
I've always loved riding horses in ANY game, whether it's a Zelda game or just Minecraft and that's why I wanted my own stable. I made this by myself by looking at a YT video and I'm quite proud of it. It feels really refreshing to see something finished after having gathered so many materials .
So yeah, don't mind Texbirds burning me to death, just peep the stable in the background.
Next up we have my wonderful greenhouse. I actually built it in Creative mode in a single-player world and planned out how I wanted it to look before I actually built it in survival, so this was built entirely by me, no videos, nada.
We also built quite a few contraptions together, which were also such a pain to make, but we managed! Here they are:
Iron farm! (that zombie was the most stressful part - we had to get a new one at least 5 times because an iron golem would spawn and it would kill it, or it would've died because it accidentally got exposed to the sun )
Don't mind Texbirds, he insisted to be in the picture.
And.. in this one.. too..
Tex made an automatic farm, I even learned where to place some Redstone!
Is that a secret lever? (Redstone piston flush piston flush redstone piston seemless door made entirely by Tex, do you even see me building this??!?)
In this screenshot, you can see Texbirds literally risking his life in our villager trading system. All of our villagers sadly turned into zombies, probably because a zombie walked in at some point - but we can cure them, so it's all good.
And last but not least, our sheep, cow, and pig farm!
Don't worry about those chickens in the corner, they're completely fine-
TURTLES! We made a turtle farm, check it:
We kinda need to get it organized...
This is our pet turtle p, he usually just chills in the kitchen. When p grew up he nearly suffocated in a wall, thanks to me he survived. (YOU'RE WELCOME P)
How we came up with his wonderful name
And yeah, that's basically it! We might make more builds in the future, but for now, this is what we've made so far! I hope you enjoyed looking at what we've done and also just Texbirds being the photogenic bird he is.
I hope you all have an amazing day!
Stay safe,
Texbirds & Meiske

Tex de Wit: We named a baby turtle 'p'
