If you look at https://www.cubecraft.net/bedrock/
There’s a section about frequent map updates. The real question is where are they? We only got three map updates in a span of two years. Bedrock is missing out on many of the Java maps and when map updates come, it usually gets the same new maps from Java and none of the existing ones, so please bring more Java maps to bedrock. It’ll increase the replay ability since some players are starting to get bored of those maps.
P.S: If you remember from Halloween 2018, a lot of unreleased Solo EggWars maps accidentally got released, what happened to them? They were good

Yeah, I agree with that, also i've been grinding the hell out of duos and its really boring playing on like the same 5 maps. I mean solos and 4's get the holiday maps and all, but duos is really lacking.

If the builders don't have time/desire to add new maps from Java to Bedrock, I'm willing to offer to recreate them in Bedrock block by block rather.

@SlinkyGnu05604 is right: there are many players who leave the game on Bedrock because of the map in use. Not all maps are liked and some of them are too few. On SkyWars Duos, there are ONLY, 3, maps. FROM SUMMER 2019! That's not good. But before adding the new maps, we must fix all the bugs currently present.
This serves is the best in my opinion, but too many bugs are destroying it and making it unplayable. Players don't want to play on servers full of hackers and bugs, you are only losing customers. And in all honesty, I feel like Cubecraft is neglecting the Bedrock community, instead Java is given all the attention. It's like if Java were the child of the family to whom you give all the food he wants and Bedrock the dog to whom you give the scraps and bone of the chicken eaten by the child (bone already consumed also).

The only 2 people that voted "No" are the Java players that don't care about us (or trolls).

3* maps: Rainbow, Fruit and Paint. They're so few that I remember the names of (and
I never remember the name of the maps of Cubecraft)

I agree with everything you said. Prioritize fixing bugs before map updates is a good idea. It’s almost half of a year since SkyWars Teams of 2 came out and it hasn’t got a single new map, not even from events. #EqualRightsToBedrock

Hey @SlinkyGnu05604

Thanks for the feedback regarding maps.

The differences between Java and Bedrock maps

Maps for bedrock have to be made in a specific way so we don’t get the chaos we have with our Java leaderboards, players only joining 10 v 10 maps to boost their win ratio. The truth is, we now have to make brand new maps for Bedrock rather than convert Java maps to suit these specifications for fairer leaderboards.

SKYWARS
- Solo (has to be 12 players, 12 starter islands)
- Teams of 2 (has to be 16 players, 8 starter islands)
- Teams of 4 (has to be 16 players, 4 starter islands)

EGGWARS
- Solo (has to be 12 players, 12 starter islands)
- Teams of 2 (has to be 12 players, 6 starter islands)
- Team of 4 (has to be 16 players, 4 starter islands)

We opened up map submissions so we can use some of the accepted maps from our community. One of our marketplace managers @Yoya has been actively reviewing maps, so we should be able to release these in the coming months. https://www.cubecraft.net/forums/accepted-community-maps.91/

Getting a map onto Bedrock requires a developer!
I want to highlight a few points in the post, Zed made, as it ties in well with our struggles to meet the demand. https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/cubecraft-problems-v3.224963/#post-1087450

"I'll start with some honesty: 2018 and 2019 were both super tough years for us, our player-base shrank and with it our team, resources and ability to deliver the things we wanted to."

If you read through Zeds full post, you will understand that developers have been a very strict resource, meaning we've typically had 2-3 active developers in the past 2 years.

The marketing image you linked "Frequent Map Updates". This was optimism on our part, which was a mistake to make that public commitment. The reality is, when you only have one developer who can configure the maps, and he is busy with keeping three networks stable and Bedrock up to date with the latest protocol, since Microsoft is constantly updating their game, it's a huge challenge!

"As mentioned at the back end of 2019 we took on four new developers: Rotem, Colin, Mats and Pico."

This is a huge stride in the right direction and a couple of these will be trained in map configuration, as that has been the ultimate blocker. We're honestly very excited for 2020!

Hope that answers your question.

I personally agree with this, but I don’t think it’s actually physically possible to transfer maps from 2 completely different Minecrafts, because Bedrock is in C++ coding language, and Java is in Java, therefore it would be very difficult to get them to communicate. Also, Cubecraft are going to put most of their attention to the Java edition this year, so I don’t need think that will be at top priority for them this year.
I still like the idea, thanks anyway for the suggestion!
