Bedrock why does cubecraft redirects asia players to america server in most gamemodes?

as the title suggests, i very often found myself being redirected to the NA or any server with 200+ ms ping while playing eggwars, skywars, and blockwars. and to top that off, many of the ranked NA players tend to be highly skilled and play with a much lower ping. they can easily spam blocks, do block clutches (which i cant do due to higher ping and ghost blocks) which i can not counter due to higher ping

even though i consider myself quite good at the game, the ping makes it frustrating to just play and often leads to losses that feel out of my control.

i was wondering why cubecraft doesn't redirect na players to the asia server as well, or just seperate the regions entirely especially since i'm already in the asia lobby and not the NA one. is there something i’m missing, or perhaps some reason for this that i’m unaware of?

any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I totally get how you feel having high ping is super annoying, especially in games where you need to be fast and quick with your moves. It’s really hard to have fun when other players can place blocks faster, do cool clutches, and react quicker just because their internet is better. It doesn’t feel fair at all.

What’s weird is that you’re getting sent to NA servers even though you’re in the Asia lobby. Shouldn’t NA players get sent to the Asia server too to make it fair? Maybe there’s a reason for it, like not enough players or something.

Even if you have to wait a bit longer to find a match, it’s better than playing games where lag makes it so hard to win. Because it’s probably not just you dealing with this problem.

I find myself having similar issues as an EU player, but only when playing blockwars. I get redirected to non-EU lobbies quite frequently whenever I play that. I have not had that happen in other minigames that much.

I've also noticed that I get higher ping servers mostly when playing team game modes (e.g. skywars teams of 2 and 4, eggwars teams of 2 and 4) but get lower ping servers when playing solo game modes in both game modes.

around 6 months back, there was some sort of natural disaster i think and the undersea cables in asia were damaged. due to this, there are wayyy lesser asia servers in most games (besides bedwars and skywars solo). some games, like eggwars, have no asia servers at all. the fixing of these undersea cables is not in cubecraft's power since someone literally has to physically go there and dive in (literally) and fix the cables.
