Why you can not say 'hacks'

Hi,

Why you can not say hacks in the chat?
People still find other ways to say it, like: hax, heks, haks etc..

In my opinion, they should remove it from the filter. Everyone says "hax, haccs, hacs, etc" so there is no point of having it in the filter.
We would also be able to say @HackersDontWin 's name...

In my opinion is this thread not even a suggestion but anyways to give answer on your question: I think they disabled it because it isn't useful to say, you just have to report the guy who hack. But I don't know why they haven't disabled the other words like "H4cks" maybe there are too much of the words.

I believe it should stay and we whitelist words.
The same way we report innapropriate player
names we could "report" words for the whitelist... shack, hackersdontwin, freddy... ?

So the fact that people are bypassing the filter means that the filter shouldn't be in place ?
I understand that a "useless" filter should not be needed but at least people know that the word isn't to be abused ?

Personally I don't think it matters whether or not its removed from the filter, either way you can get your message across. I only ever use things like hax to warn other players to watch out for that player and to take more caution when fighting them

I guess it's just for precaution you know. Better safe than sorry.

Not going to go into too much detail, but lets say you're using a client and use '.help'. The client wont let that message get to the server so it wouldn't know if someone said ".help" or not (That's only when you have a client with the ".[command]" things :P). Only way the server will know you said that is because you don't have a client that has those commands :P
