Cubecraft will for 99% update to 1.9. We are one of the biggest network in the world and we cant just stay at 1.8 forever. The server may however remove the cooldown feature if the devs want it so :D

As said above, the new PvP sistem is weird, but we can't stay at 1.8 forever...
