Hi, so this isolation's been so boring I decided to do the unthinkable which is making an overlay for (OP) Eggwars items. This is currently a WIP as more textures and models will be added later. Consider this a v0.1 release. Please read the upcoming FAQ.

This pack is an attempt to give each unique item and armor set in Eggwars their own texture.
Currently, there aren't *that* many custom textures yet, but I am still working on it!
This is a 16x16 overlay so it might not look good with whatever ultra-res pack you're using. I don't care tho, 16x masterrace!

Not all textures are original! Some are reimagined and some are reshades off of existing textures. All credits to the respective creators.

Mario's set, map Mushrooms. (teams). I personally think the cap is too big. Maybe I'll resize it, idk.

Mario's revenge, map Mushrooms (teams). This may look horrendous but it's actually a reimagination of the original Super Mario Bros. Axe you make Bowser fall in lava with as a Minecraft axe! Just shaded a bit.

Fire shroom, map Mushrooms (teams). I know it says ''shroom'' but come on, what fire item is more iconic than the Fire Flower? This is a shaded version of the Super Mario World Fire Flower.

Pirate cutlass, map Under da Sea (teams). The lightsource is on the wrong side. I'll fix this another time.

I'm making these textures in my spare time, which is rather limited. I don't set deadlines for textures. They'll come when they're ready.

This was made for 1.8.x users. Though, this should work for newer versions too, you just need to download the right Optifine version (OF is required). I'm not planning to support higher versions if it doesn't work, but I might if the demand is high enough!

Absolutely not. As stated, I work on it entirely in my free time. Making a 32x version would not be practical nor would it look good (at least in my personal opinion as I think the majority of high-res packs aren't very good looking).

Eggwars OP mode. So some items may not work on other modes. I'm not planning to support normal/hardcore anytime soon.

First things first, you need Optifine. Custom textures don't work if you don't have that. The newest versions of OF should work. Then, download the mcpatcher file (linked below), unzip it, and place it in the Minecraft folder of whatever resource pack you're using.

I already have a mcpatcher folder in there but that shouldn't be the case for you. If you do, then read below.
Don't rename the mcpatcher folder!
If you already have a mcpatcher folder in your resource pack, then take out the ''cit'' folder from mine and place it in your existing mcpatcher folder!!

Bows not drawing correctly;
Unfortunately, this is an Optifine bug. Nothing I can really do about this except hope for OF to fix it in later releases

Textures working, but not when held;
For 1.8 players, if you're using the 1.7/OldAnimations mod, the textures don't appear when you're holding the item. They do work in F5 and in your inventory though.

Textures not working in 1.13+
For this you need to rename the mcpatcher folder to ''optifine'' and change the number IDs to name IDs in the .properties files

The textures per thema are a great idea and look really nice! I’ll be sure to try it out tomorrow!

- New health modifier textures:

- Fixed shading on Pirate Cutlass
- Removed a pixel on the blade on the sharp 5 sword

Side effects:
Messing with hardcoded coloured items is tedious, so getting the Double health mod texture to work was an extreme pain (since it's considered a potion, even though it looks like a water bottle). I did get it to work but all water bottles now look like milk bottles. Let me know if you know how to get around this.
