Since Cubecraft has such a massive playerbase with both players who likes playing casual and competitive.
I personally think that there should be a ranked mode in some gamemodes. I dont know what gamemodes but think that it might be more fun like that. Let me know what everyone thinks.
First of all, I fail to see where the huge player base claim came from. In fact, it has been declining lately.
I would like to see ranked gamemodes for SkyWars but dividing such a small player base will do more bad than good.
-It will create toxicity, because, tryhards
-The player base can only support 2 seperate gamemodes in peak hours where there is about 400 people playing the most popular games.
But peak hours typically last about 2-3 hours which is not enough for ranked gamemodes to be a viable option.
-During non-peak hours, the player base in the popular games drops to 100-150 which is not nearly enough to support 4 seperate gamemodes for each game.
(4 gamemodes because: Solo Normal -- Solo Ranked -- Team Normal -- Team Ranked)
Games would take ages to fill up, and even worse, in some games (coughs in EggWars), some maps struggle to fill up even in peak hours (Teaparty, mushrooms)
Yeah i got nothin more, that's it. It is not like I am against the introduction of Ranked gamemodes, it is just not possible for this server to sustain them.
